New Moon in Cancer June 23 2017: You've got to feel good to receive

Ambi Sitham

Hello lovely ones and happy nearly New Moon in Cancer which takes place at 7.30pm PST on Friday 23rd June 2017 (adjust for your timezone).

This new moon falls at 2 degrees of Cancer and is part of a Cancer stellium with the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Mars all in the Cancer part of the zodiac.

In the natural zodiac Cancer is the ruler of the fourth house of our childhood, home, our family, domestic life and the private us - including our innermost emotions.

Each of us regardless of our zodiac sign should be thinking about the Cancer natural zodiac themes but we should also look at where we have Cancer ruling our natal charts (plus any planets we have in Cancer) to understand the themes at play for us at this New Moon and over the next lunar cycle.

The watery sign of Cancer is ruled by the moon and just as the moon waxes and wanes our domestic life can have peaks and troughs, ebbs and flows as do our emotions.

With this New Moon's close placement to Mercury, Soulstrology says our focus at this New Moon should be on our minds, emotions and our communications (all ruled by Mercury).

Most of us know what our most heartfelt goals and desires are and what it is that we want to manifest.

And at this time with the Cancer stellium it is likely that we will have very strong feelings about our goals.

However, if we are not careful, we can go into what Soulstrology calls 'lack syndrome'.

Lack syndrome occurs when we are so pertinently aware of what it is that we want that we tend to focus on the lack of that thing in our life.

We want abundance. But we focus on the lack of abundance or our poverty.

We want love. But we focus on the lack of love in our life (in the format that we require it in so often the lack of a certain relationship)

We want success. But we focus on on what we have not achieved rather than our achievements and/or negatively compare ourselves to others.

We want to feel beautiful. But instead we focus on our flaws.

You get the picture.

Lack syndrome is dangerous.

It is shrouded in resentment, comparison, envy and jealousy and fundamentally stems from a lack of love.

Lack of love for oneself (self-love) and lack of love for all that is.

Love is the antidote to lack.

With love comes gratitude and appreciation.

And we all know that an attitude of gratitude is one of the key ingredients to manifesting our desires.

Everything is energy.

Energy is creation.

It starts with our thoughts and is amplified by our emotions which in turn determines what actions we take, which determines what we manifest.

So we have to be very careful as to what we choose to think about and the emotions we choose to attach to our thoughts!

The most important conversation we ever have is the conversation we have with ourselves.

We talk to ourselves more than we talk to anyone else, so we must ensure that we have the most high vibrational conversation with ourselves!

At this watery Cancer New Moon and over this next lunation it is likely that we will all be feeling all the feels.

Some of these feels may be low vibrational feelings accompanied by low vibrational thoughts.

The truth is that sometimes each of us feels bad or has crappy thoughts and we cannot simply feel good the whole time.

That would be inauthentic.

The trick is to dive deep like the Cancer crab and feel whatever it is that comes up and go deep to transform that feeling from a low to high vibration.

Our 'negative' feelings act as such an important guide to what we really desire.

Feel anger? Underneath the anger you want to feel joy and happiness.

Feel hate? In truth you want to feel love.

Feel insecure? Your whole being wants to feel and radiate confidence.

And so on, and so forth.

This New Moon comes shortly after the Summer Solstice or rather the Summer Soulstice as Soulstrology refers to it.

This is a time when we want to connect to the maximum amount of physical and energetic light and infuse this light into our beings and our lives in order for us to receive.

But as we know we need to feel good so that we can receive.

Some of us may need to fake it until we make it. And don't knock it, it works!

Others will be unable to fake it and will need to flounder in feelings, having a meltdown if necessary.

But fear not, we breakdown to break through!

Some lucky few will already be enjoying that high vibration of feelings and thoughts and just need to maintain that.

At this New Moon and over this next lunar cycle Soulstrology says we can forget about our manifesting lists and instead focus on what we want to feel.

What would the manifestation of X, Y and Z result in us feeling?

That's what needs to go on your manifesting list.

Focus on manifesting high vibrational feelings and energies this next lunar cycle and the rest will flow.

Think less of how you will manifest your desires and feel the manifestation of them as though they've already occurred.

Align yourself energetically with the highest vibration of your desires and let the cosmos perform magic.

Mantra of the month: I focus on feeling good in order to receive.

I am wishing you all a very happy New Moon.

May each of us feel our way into manifesting what is for our highest good and the greater good of all.

May each of us raising our vibration have a positive impact upon all those around us and the world at large.

So may it be.

Love,

Ambi x

New Moon in Aquarius January 27 2017: Revolution and liberation by being the change we wish to see

Ambi Sitham

Hello lovely ones and Happy New Moon in Aquarius!

On Friday January 27th at 4.07pm PST (adjust for your timezone) is the first new moon of 2017 AND Mercury is out of retrograde shadow.

If you’ve felt this new year had a slightly foggy start or felt any kind of 2016 hangover then fear not as this weekend marks the real start to 2017 and things are going to pick up pace.

This new moon falls at 8 degrees of the air sign of Aquarius.

In the natural zodiac Aquarius is the ruler of the 11th house.

This house governs our friendships/tribe, groups and associations we belong to, and our hopes, wishes and dreams for the future.

The ruling planet of Aquarius is Uranus who was discovered around the same time electricity was discovered (and in a nice bit of cosmic synchronicity the man who discovered electricity was an Aquarian!)

Wherever we have Aquarius (or ruler Uranus) in our natal chart is where we have the ability to harness the Aquarian energies of individuality, innovation, genius, electric energy (metaphysical).

Soulstrology says the Aquarius/Uranus influence in our charts (which houses/life areas are governed/affected) will also show us where we can expect life to be unpredictable and changeable just like Uranus who has a completely unique axial tint compared to the other planets.

Those of you who have been reading my posts for a while (before my website when I just used to send out long emails) may recall how I talked about how certain Uranus transits can create very sudden change in a person’s life. Sometimes good, happy, exciting change. And sometimes the rug being pulled from underneath you type change!

Given that this is the first new moon of the new year and Mercury is now totally out of his shadow period with no more retroargh shade, Soulstrology says that whatever our sign, this Aquarius new moon is THE perfect cosmic window in which to harness all the Aquarian energies for all of us to plant the seeds for our 2017 hopes, wishes and dreams.

But back now to the title of this blog.

Without wanting to get political, I think it’s safe to say that we are living in politically turbulent times when across the world we are seeing an emerging pattern of a shift in the powers that be from one side of the spectrum to the other.

Soulstrology says what we are seeing in our physical world is a combination of Saturn in Sagittarius and Pluto in Capricorn in action, and that what many may perceive as rock bottom now is actually entirely necessary for the necessary revolution and rebirth of the Pluto in Capricorn transit.

We are halfway through this transit and as you may recall Pluto unearths what lies beneath the surface, destroys it and then rebirths in its place what is more soulful and much more powerful.

I feel as though we are at the toughest, lowest point in cycle, but also that there is only one way to go now – up and out!

Soulstrology says that this new moon offers each of us the opportunity to engage in our own personal revolution which will offer each of us the liberation (Aquarius is all about freedom) we desire and the chance to manifest our most cherished hopes, wishes and dreams by truly being the change we wish to see in our world.

Soulstrology says that each of us has our unique role to play in the healing and nurturing of our world and all its inhabitants.

Each of us was born with a unique soul purpose and gifts to share with our world.

We were each equipped at birth with everything we need to fulfill this purpose.

The difficulty comes in remembering (or more so the slow realization as we evolve) why we were incarnated and to navigate the challenges and seeming blocks and redress the shadow traits (aka our egos) to live a life of both purpose and pleasure.

You know when you see someone who is living in alignment with their soul purpose as their light shines so very bright it is hard to miss them.

They are largely happy and positive, manifest easily and seem to dance beautifully with life.

They tend to live generously and share their good fortune with others in some way, whether it is their time, money, voice/platform or energy.

We ALL have the ability to be ‘that person’.

Each of us has the ability to live in that way and to have the kind of real, lasting, soulful happiness that serves us and those around us.

We just need to get out of our own way.

If you are feeling in anyway disillusioned by current political/global events or are feeling fearful or anxious about your own goals then I ask you to sit down quietly and think about the energies you wish to see in your life and the world.

Do you want to see peace? Be peace.

I mean REALLY BE PEACE, SO NO ARGUING ONLINE AND NAME CALLING!

Sorry for the caps but purhlease, we HAVE to have the true integrity to be what we say we want to have and see!

You want abundance? Or for all to live in abundance? Live abundantly. Be generous with your time, your money, your energy and you will be creating abundance which will also be returned to you.

You want love? Be love. Stop seeking love from others and instead give it without condition.

Not to the person (s) that you are seeking it from and looking for validation from, but from those who may have nothing to return to you but need your love.

You want to have a certain career but no idea how you will manifest it or you’re facing road blocks?

Start to share what you view as your gift or your legacy just because. Share it in ways that give back to others.

If you’re a writer, write for the love of writing. Not for the public acclaim or ego validation but because you have no other choice than to write, because it’s what and who you are and your words can’t help but flow.

If you’re a singer, sing because like the birds that’s just what you do (I am obsessed with bird song by the way!).

Sing for those who need to hear you and who will be uplifted by your voice, not who you think your ‘fans’ should be.

Your words, your melodies, your love and efforts will find their rightful home and all that rewards that come as a result.

Purpose and passion are entwined like soulmates. And joy is their love child.

You will effortlessly find joy by living in this manner and will attract more of what you are putting out into the world and vibrating energetically.

True revolution comes when we as individuals choose to take personal responsibility for being part of what we want to see in our world.

Liberation comes when we realize that we can be who we desire to be because we are already that person.

All these energies are available to us at this new moon for our highest good and the greater good of all!

Soulstrology warns that a tense aspect between Venus and Saturn at this time may make us question our self worth, feel fearful about our resources/finances or feel tensions with who we may perceive as the powers that be in charge of our own lives. We may also feel tensions in serious relationships (whether romantic, platonic or professional) where one party is projecting too many of their own desires onto the other.

All of these are simply ego illusions that can act as blocks to us engaging our own Aquarian genius and innovation and fulfilling our deepest desires.

We must allow illusions about money and power to dissolve at this time. We must let go of any limiting beliefs that may arise about ourselves and our worthiness or abilities.

We must not project the weight of our hopes, wishes and dreams and our expectations for the future onto ANYONE else.

We must own our desires and the responsibilities and efforts that come with manifesting them.

At this new moon I am wishing each of you the bravery to start your own personal revolution, fueled by purpose and passion and inspired by love for yourself and others.

May we all be part of the beautiful change that we wish to see in our world and may love triumph.

Love

New Moon in Capricorn December 28th 2016: Conscious co-creation of a brave new world

Ambi Sitham

Hello lovely ones, happy holidays and happy new moon in Capricorn!

The last new moon of 2016 takes place at 10.53pm PST on Wednesday 28th December and falls at 8 degrees of Capricorn.

This is such a powerful new moon to help each of us, no matter what our sign, to consciously co-create 2017, in all areas of our lives (regardless of where Capricorn falls in each of our unique birth charts).

Capricorn is an earth sign ruled by cold, stern Saturn – the cosmic taskmaster who holds us accountable and forces us to be responsible, but also rewards our efforts and assists us in manifesting.

In the natural zodiac Capricorn rules the 10th house, governing matters such as status, authority, fame, success, ambition and achievement and traditional socialsystems.

Soulstrology says that the reason why this new moon is so important is because powerful, destructive, transformative Pluto is currently half way through his transit of Capricorn.

In 2008 Pluto entered Capricorn and in his true destructive style brought the credit crunch and the near destruction of the entire international banking system.

Pluto unearthed many of the shady practices that lay beneath the surface of the banking system and in doing so destroyed some of those institutions, many of which had been around for hundreds of years.

Since then powerful Pluto has continued with his unearthing of the dark foundations of many (outdated) traditional social structures. This has resulted in the slow unraveling and destruction of many of those systems and the aftermath of chaos, conflict and uncertainty.

But we all know that in truth chaos precedes great change.

At this halfway point of the Pluto in Capricorn cycle it can be easy to be disheartened, to allow the negativity of the seeming chaos and destruction to overwhelm us.

However Soulstrology says that we must not allow ourselves to be drawn into the darkness.

Instead Soulstrology says we must view many of the current events occurring around the world (and/or in our own lives) as being the darkness before the dawn, the necessary destruction that is required for creation.

At this midpoint of the Pluto in Capricorn transit, we are at the nadir, but from here on we will rise up once again, and create what is based on solid, real, soulful foundations and create what is powerful and empowers ALL of mankind.

Mark my words when stern Saturn moves out of Sagittarius and into Capricorn at the end of 2017 and slowly catches up with Pluto, there will be huge karmic ramifications globally for those individuals and institutions who are not based on solid, soulful foundations, who have held onto power without true purpose and who have not served the greater good.

More on this another time… but for now let us turn to 2016, a year which has been difficult for many, has seen the grim reaper run riot, and even for those of us who have had many miracles and blessings, has been overshadowed by much of the collective darkness.

In numerology 2016 was universally a 9 year. A complex, tough year of karma, completion and endings.

2017 in numerology is universally a 1 year; a fresh new cycle, a time for planting the seeds which will blossom and bear fruit, not only over the next year but over the next nine year cycle.

As Soulstrology reminds us, this takes us to the completion of the Pluto in Capricorn cycle, and to the powerful rebirth that is taking place in the Capricorn ruled areas in the natural zodiac AND the Capricorn ruled parts of our unique natal charts.

With all of the above in mind, how can we best utilize this new moon in Capricorn?

In perfect cosmic synchronicity this new moon is conjunct (blended with) mercury who is currently retrograde and will be for the first week of the new year.

Thus, this new moon is offering us the perfect opportunity to RE-THINK all the Capricorn related natural zodiac themes in our lives – what is our ambition, what does success or status really mean to us? Are we seeking certain goals for the right reasons or in our review of our goals, do we need to redefine what our goals are and therefore reset them? What systems are in place in our lives that are based on tradition (and habit) but perhaps do not truly serve our best interests?

When looking at the Capricorn ruled parts of our charts and therefore lives, can we conduct this review using both our heads and hearts. Capricorns are known for being logical and pragmatic but often at the expense of their (or others) hearts and emotions.

How can we combine both pragmatism and the calling of our hearts and souls to allow what may have been destroyed in our lives to ‘die’ without judgment or attachment, trusting fully that what we can go forwards and co-create is truly in our best interests and for the highest good.

And in turn we can experience success beyond our wildest dreams and be truly happy, simply by rethinking, redefining and recreating our goals and paths.

Each of us are in a constant conversation with the universe.

That’s why it is often called the YOUniverse.

YOU are creating your existence. If you do not like your reality or if your ambitions, or even your achievements are leaving you feeling less than truly fulfilled and whole, it is time to allow for creative destruction and to consciously co-create what you, or rather your higher self, truly desires.

With the new moon conjunct Mercury and sextile (a positive aspect) both Mars and Neptune we have the opportunity to not only rethink and reset ourselves (Mercury) but also to have the intuitive, creative and soulful inspiration (Neptune) and the drive, ambition and energy (Mars) to actually manifest our conscious intentions.

At this new moon avoid going on autopilot with your old manifesting lists, but instead to sit quietly, conduct your review, make the necessary revisions and to allow what needs to end to end, which in turn will allow you to plant the seeds to welcome the arrival of your true destiny which may surpass your greatest dreams!

Be bold and consciously co-create a brave new world for yourself, which in turn helps elevate the collective consciousness and will one day create a new paradigm for our world.

I am wishing you all a considered, creative, and powerful new moon.

Love

New Moon in Sagittarius November 2016: Balancing optimism with reality to manifest miracles

Canvas

contraction.jpg

Hello lovely ones and happy new moon in Sagittarius! This new moon takes place at 7 degrees of the Jupiter ruled sign of Sagittarius at 4.18am PST (adjust for your timezone) on Tuesday 29th November 2016.

Sagittarius is the sign of the teacher, the traveler and explorer.

This fiery sign is ruled by benefic Jupiter and as a result Sagittarius is considered by some to be the luckiest sign of the zodiac.

In the natural zodiac (which applies to all of us) this sign governs spirituality and religion, foreign places and people, publishing and higher education and legal maters including immigration.

Each of us will have Sagittarius ruling a different house of our natal charts (and therefore governing different life areas) but it is a good idea to keep the natural zodiac life areas in mind too.

You can use the free natal chart calculator on my site to check in which house 7 degrees of Sagittarius will fall as it is this house (and therefore life areas) that is highlighted by this new moon.

For each of us the Sagittarius ruled life areas of our natal chart are likely to be where we feel we are born 'blessed', or get a lucky break, or where we experience great spirituality and a desire for educating ourselves, by being student and/or teacher.

These areas of life may also be where we desire freedom which manifests as a wanderlust nature.

All sounds lovely so far, right? Except that since December 2014 stern cosmic life coach Saturn entered Sagittarius and will continue to do his cosmic life makeover in this sign until December 2017.

Saturn and Jupiter are like chalk and cheese, making Saturn in Sagittarius somewhat uncomfortable bedfellows.

Saturn represents constriction and boundaries. Reigning things in. Doing things by the book. Dotting your i's and crossing your t's and thinking about all the what if's, at times to the point of making yourself fearful (the shadow of Saturn is fear and depression).

Jupiter represents expansion, the kind of expansion which at times can lead to excess.  Jupiter is optimism, hope, generosity and pure good luck. Jupiter jumps headfirst and thinks later. No dotting of the i's and crossing of the t's for Jupiter. Yet somehow post the event good fortune sweeps in to take care of those pesky little details.

Given that Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius and therefore the energies above apply to Sagittarius, one can easily see how Saturn in Sagittarius has not been the easiest of transits for many.

In those Sagittarius ruled areas of life where we may usually experience a sense of ease, optimism, organic luck and expansion and plain good luck, we may have felt a not so welcome shift since December 2014.

The arrival of a leash or reign, and the tight pull of that leash/reign may have resulted in us perhaps feeling a sense of fear, frustration and heavyness, due to a seeming inability to move forwards and gallop off into the golden sunset like the Sagittarian centaur.

It may sound a bit meh, but it isn't all bad.

Soulstrology says that the entire point of the zodiac is to provide us with a cosmic blueprint to help us to achieve balance, harmony and alignment between the different traits of the zodiac.

By doing so this allows us to embody all the positive traits from the zodiac and to transform the shadow into light, ultimately making us whole.

When we adopt this perspective we can see Saturn's presence in Sagittarius in a very different manner. We can see that being 'reigned in' is helping us to evolve spiritually and to manifest.

The themes I have referred to above are very similar to the main astrological theme of 2016 which started a year ago in November 2015 - namely the Saturn Neptune square (dreams versus reality, boundaries, contraction for expansion).

Whilst the Saturn Neptune square has faded somewhat since the final exact square in September 2016, it is being reactivated at this new moon.

This new moon squares (expect an intensity) the lunar nodes (fate/destiny) and is conjunct Juno (the asteroid of marriage, commitment).  Meanwhile Sagittarius's ruler, Jupiter (currently in Libra) is making a sextile (friendly, harmonious aspect) to Saturn in Sagittarius.

Finally, at this new moon Venus (love, money) squares Uranus (sudden change, revolution).

No, this may not be a full moon but this is a FULL ON new moon...expect the unexpected and as well as whatever life areas highlighted in your chart you can also expect the above areas to come up for cosmic consideration.

As 2016 is slowly but surely drawing to a close this new moon is bringing together so many of the most powerful astrological themes this year and forcing us to review not only the progress of our plans, but our plans themselves!

For each of us this is a unique and no doubt deeply personal experience.

There is no one size fits all formula/solution.

But we must all look to the Sagittarius ruled life areas (apply both the natural zodiac and your unique natal chart) and ask ourselves some tough questions and answer them with brutal honesty.

What issues has Saturn brought up for us since December 2014? What lessons have we learned? And perhaps more pertinently, what lessons do we perhaps still need to learn? How can we pro-active so as to avoid learning through tough love and instead pre-empt these lessons?

How can we find the balance between our dreamy vision and reality? Which of our dreams/visions are perhaps not ultimately in our best interests which is why we may be thwarted in the manifestation of said dream/vision?

How can we mindfully navigate the path between where we are right now and where we want to be?

How can we rise to Saturn's challenge and be steadfast in the pursuit of our goals knowing that hard work, persistence, and at times contraction, ultimately leads to the expansion we desire and the manifestation of our dreams?

Saturn may test us but he also rewards hard work and when he leaves an area of our chart he often departs bestowing a gift! (mark December 2017 in your diaries!)

If we can temper our optimism with practicality, balance our dreams with reality and accept the lessons we need to learn (including if we need to reroute ourselves) then we can harness the energies of Jupiter to manifest the miracles of Sagittarius.

At this new moon I wish you all the courage to ask yourselves the tough questions and to answer them with brutal honesty (hey, did I mention I am a Sagittarian?!) and to perform the unique balancing act required for your life.

May you manifest the miracles you desire, for your highest good and the greater good of all concerned.

Happy new moon!

Love Ambi x
