HIGH FIVES! July 2018's five faves

Ambi Sitham

Hint - everything rose is giving me life!

Hint - everything rose is giving me life!

Hello lovely ones and happy Wednesday!

Now, I am embracing a different season of life and way of sharing alchemy so I have a new monthly blog which will will come out just before the New Moon each month, in which I will be sharing five of my highlights from the previous lunar month.

I hope that by sharing new things I am doing, or new products I have discovered, I am living out some of my alchemy journey with you in real time and it may inspire you on your journey.

So here are my HIGH FIVES of the last month!

1) Healing, receiving, and letting that shit go - literally

As many of you will know I am a Reiki master and energy healer but I formally stopped these sessions Fall. I have been embracing a new chapter of life since getting married a year ago and have felt as though my energy needed to be directed more inwards to myself, or to my immediate loved ones,  than externally.

This month I also realized that it was time for me to receive some healing too. So I went for it! In this space of three days I had a reiki session with the powerful reiki master and special soul Ali Werner, a mayan abdominal massage and v-steam with the incredible Marcia Lopez of Women's True Healing, and a 'closed' colon hydrotheraphy session with the amazing Nina (who did 15 minutes of reiki and crystal healing on me before the actual colonic) of Iyasu Colonics.

I literally feel like a different person. It's kind of insane! I have realized how much I also need to heal, receive and be energetically, physically and spiritually cleansed regularly. I cannot recommend the above ladies more highly. I am promoting them out of pure love, respect and gratitude - they are amazing and if you need to let some shit go (literally), some reproductive wellness and healing, or just to be energetically cleansed, aligned and filled back up - these are your ladies in LA! And if you don't live in LA maybe reach out to these ladies to ask for their recommendations where you live and/or let this inspire you to seek out your own healing and aligning journey.

2) Summertime reading

I guess a kind of polar opposite to the healing and cleansing is that I have recently felt quite turned off by self-help books. This is VERY unusual for me. Since my spiritual journey started 10 years ago, I have barely read anything but self-help, spiritual, religious, mystical, metaphysical books. But in the last month or so I have just not been feeling it. So in line with Cancer season I have been following my feels and the truth is that I have been craving some light fluffy entertainment which is also well written. Enter Kevin Kwan. I devoured this book of his - the first of a trilogy - which is a light but oh so fun and captivating read. The second part of the trilogy is on its way to me and I already can't wait to read it and then the final installment. My goal is to read them all before the movie of the first book comes out in August!

3) The heart wants what it wants

And my heart has been craving all things rose....so I have been honoring that and these are the products which have been helping me.

  • I am obsessed with this healing rose balm which works amazingly well anywhere on your body - lips, cuticles, dry patches - and is small enough to fit in your purse.

  • These rose incense sticks give me life. I used to use them in healing sessions all the time. I would light them before a client arrived to infuse the aroma of rose into my space and to set the tone for a heart centered healing session. Now I am using them for myself, when I wake up and write my morning pages.

  • I found these rose sandalwood incense cubes which also contain frankincense, Siam balsam, sandalwood, myrrh, iris roots, as well as rose oil. They smell heavenly and are a lovely alternative to traditional incense sticks.

  • These edible organic, non GMO rose petals and buds are going in everything from my smoothies, to my baths, I am making rose water and buckets of rose tea. I am basically soon to be a rose!

  • Finally, in this insane LA heatwave this cooling rosewater and aloe face spray is helping me stay fresh and calm. As soon as I smell the rose aroma I feel instantly calmer about my lack of air conditioning (yes really, we have no air con!) and it's a great toner. I am keeping it in the fridge so it is nice and refreshing when I spray it.

4) Bloom Yellow

I don't know if many of you know about the Yellow Conference but I discovered it in 2014  - after my annus horribilis of 2013 - and attended their inaugural conference in August of that year which was exactly what the doctor ordered. Think three days of inspiration from creative, conscious entrepreneurs - meeting the kindest souls, the best goodie bag and walking away feeling enthused and inspired about the solopreneur life and creative projects (many of which were ideas of mine back in 2014 but have taken until now to come to fruition!). I attended again in 2015 but skipped 2016 and 2017 - because - life. But the two times I attended I have felt like I have bloomed afterwards. I like the Yellow Co's tagline/hashtag which is #bloomyellow as it is on point.

This year I felt called to go but then talked myself out of it and then was still umming and ahhing but somewhat torn. I have no idea why, I think it's a bit like the receiving healing where I feel a bit indulgent and almost a bit guilty. My husband basically told me I was crazy and I should go. Not that I needed his approval, but his encouragement helped me stop faffing and get my ticket. So I will be going (it's in August) and I am so excited! Three days of empowerment, education and inspiration - for and by creative, entrepreneurial women to become agents of good. Yes please! It's so nice to have something to look forward to and I am so excited as to what inspiration I will receive not only for further creative projects but also for how I can give back even more (a huge theme of the Yellow Co).

5) Capturing moments forever

When we went to our friends wedding last Fall they had a mini polaroid camera and lots of film, the idea being guests could take pictures as momentos and stick some in a guest book with a little note for the happy couple. It was such a fun and sweet idea and we got loads of lovely pics of us from the day which we have put in the teeniest little frames and are dotted around our apartment. We borrowed their camera for our wedding and and it was SO fun for us and our guests. So we decided to get our own because as much as snapping photos on our phones are great there is something so fun about having a physical print as an immediate (and permanent) record of a beautiful memory. I realized how much I get out of looking at these little pictures of us and our family and friends and how much happiness it brings to me, it's just different than staring at images on a phone. There is something timeless and exquisite about a film picture, plus polaroids are just uber flattering without being filtered or edited. And who doesn't want that?! This is the camera we bought along with the cutest vintage style case. I am looking forward to capturing many sweet moments this summer and beyond. I will no doubt share many of them and have a feeling both my Instagram and future blogs will be peppered with polaroids going forwards :)

I hope you enjoyed reading about my high fives from this last lunar cycle and that perhaps it inspires you in some way to create some high fives in your life.

Maybe it's healing, maybe it's booking a course or workshop or trip, maybe it's reading something new or consuming a different product which your body needs, maybe it's working out how to document your life journey more permanently...

Maybe it's something completely different!

The most important thing is that you embrace the new lunar cycle and the opportunity to create some alchemy in your life over the next lunation.

From the deep and meaningful to the simple - it's all alchemy!

I look forward to hearing your high fives :)

Wishing you all an early happy New Moon - may your solar eclipse experience be sizzling in the best possible way!

Love,

Ambi x

Our first year of marriage....

Ambi Sitham

Happy one year anniversary to us!

One year ago, we eloped in Las Vegas...

In the oldest chapel in Vegas, we made our vows to love each other for the rest of our lives and formally became husband and wife.

And what a year it has been since...

Four weddings (two of them ours!), a funeral (my beloved Dad), a move (we only moved in together after getting married and I let go of my apartment), professional changes (me letting go of half my practice and starting a podcast and another new venture - him getting a new job), lots of trips, adventures, lessons and shifts...

It hasn't all been easy, by any means.

But the miracle and joy is that our love has deepened with each day and that with all the ups and downs we have not only gotten closer (which I didn't think was possible), but we've also managed to laugh and find comfort in each other on all of the ride...even the white knuckled, grit your teeth, stomach churning parts...

I will be writing more about the deeply transformative journey I have been on because even from the little snippets I share above, I am sure you can understand when I say that on a personal level this last year has been truly life changing...and hey, maybe me sharing my alchemy journey can help someone else reading...

Until then I wanted to share this little video reel from our two weddings and Hawaii honeymoon as well as the below quote (found on Pinterest)  which to me sums up the real love of a soulmate union.

They say love is blind. I disagree. Infatuation is blind. Love is all-seeing and accepting. Love is seeing the flaws and blemishes and accepting them. Love is accepting the bad habits and mannerisms, and working around them. Love is recognizing all the fears and insecurities, and knowing your role it to comfort. Love is working through all the challenges and painful times. Infatuation is fragile and will shatter when life is not perfect. Love is strong and it strengthens because it is real.

Cheers to this journey of real love...

Love,

Ambi x

March 2018: Surrendering to unknown change

Ambi Sitham

Wise words of Reinhold Niebuhr

Wise words of Reinhold Niebuhr

Hello lovely ones and welcome (nearly!) to March 2018!

A month which kicks off with a Full Moon and brings a new season and lots of change...

Which leads me nicely to some changes I am making...

I wanted to let you all know that going forward, my Full and New Moon blogs will be Member only content.

Monthly cosmic updates and my podcasts will remain accessible to all and I hope that you continue to gain benefit from those.

If you do feel the Full/New moon blogs help you then I would encourage you to try out Membership with a free month trial.

You will find today's Full Moon blog there which can read and try out Membership free of charge for the next month to see if it serves you.

So you know in the Member area I provide weekly cosmic coaching blogs, Member only meditations and will soon be recording Member only podcasts.

I will still be sending out a newsletter when new blogs are up and will now probably send out a weekly newsletter.

If the Member only content does not appeal to you and/or you would rather not hear from me too often then I will totally understand you unsubscribing.

You can still visit my website, my Instagram and Soundcloud for the accessible to all content and I hope it will still serve you in some way!

Onward now to this month of March and what the cosmos has in store for each of us...

March is a power packed month astrologically as it starts and ends with a bang with a Full Moon in Virgo, followed by a Full Moon in Libra and sees two planets turn retrograde (Jupiter and Mercury).

The eclipses of last month will be triggered by celestial events in March and we will all be pushed into a new season of life come the Spring Equinox even if it takes a little while to unveil itself due to mischievous Mercury and his usual mayhem (but remember, he can bring mayhem which ultimately proves magical and indeed miraculous!)

Soulstrology tells us that this month each of us are asked to surrender to unknown change.

To change we cannot yet see, or even necessarily comprehend, we are asked to simply surrender to the process of that change, trusting it is part of the divine plan for each of our soul's journeys and is ultimately for our highest good.

As the quote above says, change is the essence of life and we must be willing to surrender who/what we are for who/what we may become.

Sometimes change comes through conscious intent and it is the result of much hard work and energy.

But positive change can still be scary and push us outside of our comfort zone as we don't know what life will look like on the other side of that change!

At times change is unplanned and comes via the universe pushing us into the direction we need to go in.

In these cases we may feel blindfolded and/or fearful that we cannot see where we are going or understand how this is for our highest good.

Our job this month continues the Soulstrology theme of February (flowing with faith) but now asks us to go one step further by surrendering to the unknown and being open to the fact that change, and a new chapter is inevitable.

Mantra of the month:

I embrace change as the essence of life

I surrender to the unknown trusting that just because I cannot see it, doesn't mean it won't be positive

I acknowledge the discomfort of change and am kind to myself in the process of change

I trust that any changes which take place this month are ultimately for my highest good

I am willing to change who I am so that I can become who I am meant to be in this next chapter of life

November 2017: Success comes by showing up for yourself

Ambi Sitham

Show up so you can be shown up for.

Show up so you can be shown up for.

Hello lovely ones and welcome to November 2017!

The Soulstrology theme for this month is showing up.

When we show up for ourselves (and others) the world shows up for us.

Soulstrology says that the degree to which we can show up for ourselves, our lives and others, is the degree to which we can manifest our desires, and indeed our destiny.

But showing up isn't always as straightforward as it may sounds.

Showing up for ourselves is the ultimate act of self-love and we all know that self-love is again an easy phrase to throw around but is a tough act to practice daily.

Showing up will mean different things for each of us but with the Sun in Scorpio for most of this month and a powerful New Moon in Scorpio in a few weeks we are each asked to consider how we can show up so that we can truly be in our own personal power and be soulfully powerful (all Scorpio themes).

As I am sure you all know, Jupiter the cosmic miracle maker is now in Scorpio.

Regardless of our zodiac sign and the unique life areas in our charts being graced with Jupiter's presence, we are each asked to transform ourselves over the next year in order to receive the maximum benefit from the Jupiter in Scorpio transit.

To transform our lives we have to show up.

Showing up will mean different things for each of us.

For many of us it may mean admitting there is a 'problem' or some darkness which needs to be transmuted into light.

For others it may be getting help with the process of alchemy and healing.

For others it will be doing what we know we need to, yet are avoiding.

Scorpio season is a notoriously intense time in the cosmos.

The solar spotlight shines bright and deep and transcends the veil of illusion to show us what lies beneath in our deep subconscious, which is the root of our beliefs and fuels our behavior and actions.

There is no hiding this month from the truth of our lives and our psyches.

The truth can set us free but only if we embrace it and let it rise up into the light, knowing any seeming darkness that accompanies that truth has the ability to be alchemized into light and goodness.

Think of this month as planting the seeds of the success for the Jupiter in Scorpio transit and know that to plant those seeds you need to start the process of showing up for yourself, your life and indeed the world.

It can be a simple act which creates a physical or energetic shift which will unfold over the next year.

Listen closely to the whisper of your soul as to how you need to show up this month and then do just that.

Mantra of the month:

I embracing showing up for myself, knowing that I need to show up for myself before others can show up for me.

I know that showing up for myself enables me to show up for others too.

As I show up for myself, I see how the world shows up for me.

I show up. Every day, in every way.

As always I will write detailed blogs for both the New and Full Moons.

Jupiter in Scorpio Part 2: Healing is the first stage of manifesting

Ambi Sitham

werepeatwhatwedontrepair.jpg

Hello lovely ones!

I hope you found the Soulstrology Jupiter in Scorpio Cosmic Coaching questions useful and that you took the time to answer them fully and to review the last Jupiter in Scorpio transit and understand how it impacted upon your life.

Next up is Part 2 where we lay the foundations for the next thirteen months of the current Jupiter in Scorpio transit.

Jupiter is known as the great gift giver and the cosmic benefic.

As a result people expect miracles from a Jupiter transit and are sometimes confused when they did not manifest as much as they expected.

The reason for this is multi-fold.

To read the rest of this blog including the Soulstrology Cosmic Coaching questions please log in and create a member profile and enjoy a free month of membership!

Breakdowns and breakthroughs: September 28 2017: Jupiter in Libra opposes Uranus in Aries, the finale!

Ambi Sitham

Word to the wise!

Word to the wise!

Hello lovely ones and happy Wednesday!

Tomorrow, September 28, there is the final act of a powerful aspect between Jupiter (abundance, expansion, miracles) in Libra (relationships) and Uranus (change, revolution) in Aries (the individual, identity, autonomy).

This aspect is an opposition, which Soulstrology explains is a tense aspect with a stand off as such between two areas of our lives.

This aspect creates an 'either or' scenario in each of our lives, where something significant shifts.

To continue reading the rest of this blog including a Soulstrology guide for your sign to this transit please log in to create a Member profile and enjoy a free month trial!

August 2017: Dancing with the winds of change

Ambi Sitham

Hello lovely ones and welcome to August 2017 and eclipse season!

With the sun in fiery Leo for the month, a powerful Jupiter/Pluto aspect,  a lunar and solar eclipse and Mercury Retrograde, all I can say is - expect the unexpected this month!

As we all know eclipse season brings the winds of change.

Soulstrology says that Jupiter square Pluto at the start of August indicates powerful transformation, good fortune and a rebirth of sorts is on the cards for many this month ahead.

Mercury retrograde as always can bring back the past, for healing and/or closure or for opportunity and a sweet new beginning.

Either way, change is the theme of August.

For some this change may be welcome, planned or long anticipated.

For others it may manifest as an abrupt, unseen or unwelcome ending.

Soulstrology says that whatever manifests for us this month is in divine cosmic order and that we must not only keep the faith that all is unfolding exactly as it ought to but also trust that the events of this month are for our highest good in the bigger picture of our destiny.

When we experience sudden change it often results in us freezing or being floored.

Or sometimes we fight against the direction of the winds, forcing ourselves to move against the natural rhythm of cosmic change, staggering and gasping for air as we do so.

Change isn't always welcome or easy and is often far from pleasant.

But it is the only constant.

This month whether you are experiencing welcome changes or have the rug pulled from underneath you, trust that your only job is to dance with the winds of change.

Dancing with the winds of change is to dance with your eyes closed as though no-one is watching.

Lose any self-consciousness, shut out external distractions, tune into your heart and dance to the rhythm of change with grace and joy, trusting you are being led to your destiny.

As always I will write detailed blogs for the Full Moon/Lunar eclipse and New Moon/Solar eclipse.

Members can expect the scoop on all the other cosmic activity including a Soulstrology guide to Mercury retrograde and the eclipses.

Below are the key cosmic dates for your diary.

August 1st: Venus moves into Cancer

My marriage, my father's funeral and a new dawn

Ambi Sitham

Mr and Mrs Kavanagh, Hawaii June 2017

Mr and Mrs Kavanagh, Hawaii June 2017

Hello lovely ones and I hope you had a good New Moon and are enjoying the start of Leo season.

As you may have gathered by now this isn't one of my usual Soulstrology posts.

I guess this is the start of me writing and sharing in a different way, plus there are some important updates on my services (which won't affect all of you but will definitely impact upon some of you) as a result of all the life changes I am going through.

As some of you who follow me on Instagram may know, a month ago today I married the most incredible, kind, smart, handsome man who I know without a doubt is my partner in life and love.

It's kind of bonkers (as we say in England!) when you consider that a year ago we had yet to go on our first date!

Our relationship and my own personal journey of alchemy with love cannot possibly be covered in a blog, or even several blogs, but I am sure I will write more on it soon....for now I will just say that I am SO happy...

However as we all know life is full of ups and downs, ebbs and flows, blessings and challenges.

Around the time of our wedding my beloved Dad, who has been seriously ill for over a decade, took a turn for the worse.

He'd had many bad turns over the last decade and my family had gone through many scares of losing him.

At first I thought this incident was more of the same as he seemed to get a little better.

However, around the Capricorn Full Moon (my Dad was a Capricorn) his condition deteriorated rapidly and he passed away last weekend.

So it was with sadness but so much love that my new husband and I flew to London and I said goodbye to my beloved Dad last week.

My Dad and I had a particularly close bond.

I was lucky to be doted on by him and to dote on him in equal measure.

He was one of my biggest spiritual influences as my first meditation teacher (aged ten) and my first (and forever) spiritual guide.

I hope that I am part of his legacy and do him justice with the work I now do which is undoubtedly my soul's purpose.

I'm so grateful that he and my wonderful husband got to meet, and despite my human sadness I am so relieved that my Dad is no longer suffering as a prisoner to a body that was betraying him and that he has peace and his soul has gone some place way better.

People often ask whether I can see death in a chart and it is a question that I am very wary at answering.

The answer is yes you can see the energies of death (but remember transformation is death of sorts and equally physical death is the ultimate transformation) but as you all know by now with Soulstrology, nothing can be 'predicted' per se.

However I could see the strong possibility of his passing due to transits in both our charts.

This was accompanied by a very strong intuitive feeling for the last few years that in spite of his ill health my Dad was holding on until I was happily married and he knew I was on the right path in all areas.

So whilst it was of course deeply upsetting (you are never prepared for these things no matter how many years you have been in preparation) to me it was no coincidence that my Dad took such a turn for the worse at the Capricorn Full Moon or that he passed on a few weeks after my marriage.

Last week at his funeral I read this poem as part of my speech and I truly feel that my Dad will forever be with me and all who he loved and who might need him (and I hope that in some small way these words can be of comfort to others who are experiencing bereavement)

Poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye

Poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye

I am looking forward to connecting with him in another way - through my dreams, my meditations, and signs and synchronicities from the universe.

I will no doubt feel the human loss of my Dad for the rest of my time on this earth plane but in truth I have been grieving him since he nearly passed a decade ago.

This was the final goodbye.

Although I cried many tears in the days of his passing and at his funeral I now find myself at peace and my heart is overflowing with love and gratitude.

To have my wonderful new husband (who shares the same pure, gently spirit as my Dad) by my side during this time and to be be embarking upon one of the biggest chapters of my life with our marriage, reminded me of the beautiful cycle of this human existence of endings and beginnings, deaths and rebirths and that love never dies.

It is indeed a new dawn.

Yep. Yep. Yep.

Yep. Yep. Yep.

Last year (before I met my husband or he was even on the radar) I realized that I wanted to make some big changes both personally and professionally.

I knew it wouldn't happen overnight but I started to plant the seeds both in my consciousness and on the physical plane.

For a couple of years I had been quietly working away, with a packed client schedule, more often than not working six days a week with up to five sessions a day -  reiki, sound healing, astrology, coaching and mentoring.

I also had a small email list of people whom I would email old school style with a BCC email with my Soulstrology updates.

I loved helping people but it left very little time for a personal life or for me to play and explore my own creativity and self-expression.

I knew I had to make changes.

I knew I had to give myself space to continue this ongoing process of alchemy that is life and to become the next version of myself.

I also knew I wanted to share with a wider audience and help more people.

I started a proper website, committed to regular blogs, social media posts and put myself out there a whole lot more than was comfortable.

This year I knew that my life was changing beyond all recognition, that I was embarking upon a whole new chapter, that my priorities were shifting and that a season of life was coming to an end.

I knew that I couldn't continue to do everything and that something had to give.

I also knew I either had to be proactive or the universe would do it for me.

Jump, or get pushed.

That was the message I received from the universe, loud and clear.

In fact, I am now leaping with joy into this new chapter with my Dad's serene smile ever present in my mind's eye and my husband and biggest cheerleader supporting me.

So, as of 1st September I am saying goodbye to my glorious little miracle making abode of the last few years which has been the source of healing and light for so many people (including myself!) and birthed my first New and Full Moon circles and Soulstrology Soundbaths.

As a result I will no longer be providing regular in person Reiki, Astrology, Coaching or Mentoring sessions.

If you want to squeeze in to see me in person before September 1 then please email ask@alchemywithambi.com to arrange a session via my assistant.

I have a few current in person mentees whom I fully intend to continue with for as long as they need me.

My mentees who I look after by Skype and telephone will also be accommodated by me in person if/when they come to Los Angeles.

But as of 1st September anyone wanting a reading or coaching can still enjoy a session with me but only via Skype or telephone.

My Reiki energy will flow at all the events I do (Soundbaths, workshops, Moon circles and more) and into everything I am creating.

I may also do the occasional day of Reiki and/or Soundbaths (when I give Reiki or sound healing I actually receive it hence why I love giving those sessions!) at another venue but such days will be very few and far between.

I am going to be serving for just a few days a week (as opposed to nearly the entire week!) and the rest of the time I am going to be living, loving, playing and creating a whole lot more.

I truly feel all of this is going to serve me and others as I am able to share in a whole different way.

As you may be able to tell despite the emotional rollercoaster of the last month I am beyond excited, happy and grateful about the future.

And as I type this I can feel my Dad's loving energy around me....

Signing off for now with so much love and gratitude but expect to hear more from me in the Fall (and Soulstrology updates will continue as normal!)

Love,

Ambi x

June 2017: Go for it!

Ambi Sitham

Hello lovely ones and welcome to June 2017!

This month the cosmos offers us jewels, but in order to retrieve these jewels we need to take action.

As many of you will know the Soulstrology theme for the Gemini New Moon last week was ‘going for gold’ and each of us pursuing our highest ambitions.

The theme continues in June with the cosmos asking each of us to really hone in on what it is that we want and then pursuing it with enthusiasm.

In other words, just going for it!

With both Mercury and Venus finally out of retroshade and with cosmic giant Jupiter going direct this month, we have the support of the zodiac to take action without any muddling retrograde mix ups.

Each of us has unique dreams and ambitions.

As we change, so too will our goals.

But sometimes we keep our most cherished hopes, wishes and dreams stifled within.

We may talk about or reflect upon them from time to time, but we don’t actually take steps to manifest them.

We may feel that they are unrealistic, or even impossible.

As a result these unfulfilled dreams lie dormant inside of us, where they are neither dead nor alive.

The pain of this can burn a hole in our hearts and souls leaving us feeling unfulfilled and a sense of unease and wondering, ‘What if?’

It doesn’t have to be this way.

But dreams don’t come true unless we do something.

Soulstrology says that this month we need to go within and connect once more to our dormant dreams.

And then we need to take action, even a teeny tiny step, to help co-create our dreams with the cosmos.

There are of course no guarantees in life.

The future is promised to no-one.

We don’t always get what we want and not every dream is our destiny.

Nonetheless, we know that fortune favors the bold.

The truth is not every goal or dream will manifest.

But you won’t know until you try.

Get quiet this month.

Use the power of Mercury (the ruler of this next lunation) to think about your deepest dreams.

Journal and get clarity on the steps you need to take to create the opening for the jewels that June can bring.

Go for it!

As usual I will write blogs about the new and full moons.

March 2017: Value yourself to spring forward

Ambi Sitham

Hello lovely ones and welcome to March 2017!

It seems like just yesterday that I was writing the February cosmic update talking about how 2017 was about to pick up pace and suddenly….whoosh…February is over and March is here!

Although the eclipses were last month we are very much still in eclipse season.

Soulstrology explains that eclipses are sometimes not felt at the exact time they take place and often it is a month later at the next full or new moon that the eclipses changes are triggered.

If you did not feel the impact of the eclipses in February it may well be that March brings the changes that can help usher you into a new chapter and season of life…

As you will recall the solar eclipse just a few days ago was in Pisces and is the finale of the Pisces/Virgo set of eclipses which started in March 2015.

Now just days later on March 4th, Venus (governing love, beauty, abundance and importantly, values) goes retrograde, at first in Aries and then in Pisces.

The cosmic synchronicity is truly a gift from the heavens.

Here we are with the sun in Pisces (ruling the 12th house in the natural zodiac) ending one astrological year and in just over three weeks the new astrological year begins with the sun moving into Aries at the Spring Equinox on March 20th.

At a time when each of us (regardless of our zodiac sign) is going through the grand finale of a big shift in the Pisces ruled part of our unique charts/lives and the cosmic spotlight is soon to be on the Aries ruled part of our unique charts/lives, Venus decides she is going to do a backwards dance and force us to reflect on our values in relation to the Pisces and Aries ruled areas of lives in both our unique natal charts and the natural zodiac.

Our value system and how we value ourselves (therefore our self esteem/self love) are the seeds of consciousness for almost everything we experience in life.

When we do not live in alignment with our true values, we are not aligned with our souls and therefore our lives will be out of sync and we will experience chaos.

When we do not truly value ourselves we cannot be truly valued by others.

Our love lives are a reflection of how much we love and value ourselves.

Our financial affairs are a reflection of how much we love and value ourselves.

We cannot life a life of true value unless we truly know our values.

Not society’s values, our families values or our peer group’s values but our unique values.

Fundamentally we cannot truly live a life of value and have our value reflected back to us by the universe unless we truly value ourselves and our values.

As we journey through the end of the astrological year and prepare to start a new one and embrace the sweet new beginnings of Spring and a new season of our lives, we must harness the energies of this Venus retrograde to delve deep into our values.

I will write more about Venus retrograde soon but in the meantime here are the main cosmic dates for your diary this month.

March 1st: Sun in Pisces conjunct Neptune in Pisces (dreamy, creative, romantic but also potential for deception/illusion)

March 2nd: Jupiter in Libra opposes Uranus in Aries (tense aspect but ultimately can have positive outcome)

March 4th: Venus goes retrograde in Aries (will post on this)

March 5th: Mars in Aries trines Saturn in Sagittarius (positive aspect for lasting action)

March 12th: Full Moon in Virgo (will write a separate blog on this)

March 17th: Sun in Pisces squares Saturn in Sagittarius (tense aspect but can have positive outcome)

March 18th: Mercury in Aries conjunct Venus in Aries (creative, romantic aspect, look out for communications around this time)

March 24th: Mercury in Aries opposes Jupiter in Libra (tense aspect around communications in relationships of all sorts but can have positive outcome)

March 25th: Sun in Aries conjunct Venus in Aries (positive aspect)

March 27th: New Moon in Aries (will post a separate blog on this)

March 30th: Jupiter in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn (tense but positive aspect).

For now I am wishing you all a marvelous start to March.

May we both value ourselves and others and live a life of value and valor, this month and beyond.

Love

February 2017: Fearless flow

Ambi Sitham

Hello lovely ones and welcome to February 2017!

After a sluggish start to the new year the pace is now going to pick up and 2017 is going to start to take shape.

February brings eclipse season. The first set of eclipses of 2017 will take place in Leo and Pisces.

Eclipses always bring change. They bring endings for new beginnings.

They bring what may seem like sudden change but really these changes have been marinating in the cosmic ether for sometime and the eclipses simply activate them into the physical realm.

Sometimes these changes can be happy, welcome changes that thrust a person into a new chapter of their life.

Sometimes they can feel as though the rug is being pulled from underneath us with an ending that seems imposed by the universe.

Soulstrology says that there is no good or bad.

That there are silver linings to be found in the clouds of our lives and equally blessings can turn into disappointments at best and curses at worst!

Everything is simply potential and it is up to each of us to harness the highest vibration of that potential for our highest good and the greater good of all.

It is up to each of us to choose which filter we apply which will determine how we view a life event.

I always remind people of this when I do their transit reports. I explain how two people can experience near identical astrological transits with completely different outcomes for each of them.

The difference between the two is their consciousness and their actions, and importantly their reactions to events.

Nothing is guaranteed by the cosmos! The stars impel but do not compel.

It is up to each of us to co-create the life we desire and to navigate the bumps and forks in the road.

This month we will see many sweeping changes in the world around us.

Each of us will also experience significant changes in our own lives.

Even if the change is not yet visible the seeds will be planted this month and will flower come the Spring Solstice.

Soulstrology says that our only job this month is to be fearless. To allow ourselves to be in flow.

To not fight what is happening but to find a way to flow with the changes, to work with whatever the cosmos throws at us this month.

To be grounded regardless of what the winds of change bring.

Mantra for the month courtesy of Virginia Woolf: – I am rooted, but I flow

January 2017: Sowing the seeds for soulful success

Ambi Sitham

Hello lovely ones and welcome to January 2017!

A brand new year, a clean slate and the opportunity to be, do and have all that you desire.

Yes, really!

What does Soulstrology say this first month of this sparkling new year has in store and how can each of us work with this to experience our best year yet?

As I mentioned in my Capricorn new moon post, in numerology this year ahead is a 1 year, meaning that in contrast to 2016 (which was very much about cleaning house, shedding skin, endings and purging) 2017 is all about beginnings, creativity, hope, optimism and miracles.

However, as always, we cannot sit on our bums (or butts as my lovely Yankies like to say) and expect that this year will simply deliver the goodies.

We have to create space, on both the metaphysical and physical planes, and work with the cosmos to receive the miracles available to us.

This first month of this new year may feel as though it is getting off to a sluggish start due to mercurial Mercury still in retrograde motion.

Mercury stations direct on January 8th in Sagittarius and will then move back into Capricorn as it travels through its post retrograde shadow period which finally ends on 27th January.

With the sun in goal orientated Capricorn for most of the month highlighting our ambitions, our status and what we consider success it is a great time for each of us to be thinking about this year ahead and what we truly want and how we can get it.

Although we may think what we want is obvious, it rarely is.

In my private coaching work I more often than not find that when people first come to work with me they think they want X, Y and Z and are very clear about their goals.

However when we delve deep into the work of alchemy and Soulstrology their goals often dramatically change and their lives transform in a way that they couldn’t really contemplate at the outset, yet results in them being much happier and fulfilled mind/body/soul, both spiritually and in terms of their physical/earthly life.

Soulstrology says that the seeming sluggish nature to the start of this new year is actually an incredible opportunity for each of us to sow the seeds for the year ahead and for mind/body/soul aligned soulful success.

The kind of success that fills you with genuine happiness and truly serves you.

If this new year is feeling sluggish to you, or if you feel stuck (or worse dread) about the year ahead, then do not allow this to overcome you.

Use this time to do a little naval gazing and to really think about your values and whether your goals are a true reflection of those values. Think about the kind of lifestyle you enjoy and whether the achievement of your goals will truly allow you to live the day to day life you genuinely desire.

Consider the roles you play in life and which of these roles are the most important to you. Do your goals really reflect both your values and your most cherished roles (either current or a role you wish to play in life)?

The seeds of consciousness we plant this month, the resetting of goals, the steps we take to make space both internally and externally to receive our blessings, all the work we do in the next month is setting up our year ahead.

Do not underestimate how much can happen in a year, intend to make it your best year yet!

Below are the key cosmic dates for your diary.

January 1 -19th- Sun in Capricorn

January 1-29th – Mars in Pisces

January 4th Venus moves into Pisces where she remains for rest of month

January 8th – Mercury stations direct at 28 degrees Sagittarius

January 12th – Full moon in Cancer (INTENSE, will post detailed blog on this)

January 12th – Venus and Neptune conjunction in Pisces (romantic/creative/spiritual aspect)

January 20th – Sun moves into Aquarius

January 27th – New moon in Aquarius (will write detailed blog on this)

January 27th – Mercury out of retrograde shadow (woohoo!)

January 27th – Chinese New Year (year of the Rooster)

I will write more on the new moon and full moon on this blog and post other snippets on Facebook and Instagram.

In the meantime I am wishing you all a very happy start to 2017!

Love
