Full Moon in Sagittarius: May 29 2018: Faith over fear because your future is as bright as your faith
Hello lovely ones and happy nearly Full Moon!
This Full Moon takes place at 7.20am PT on Tuesday May 29th 2018 (adjust for your timezone) and falls at 8 degrees of Sagittarius.
As always I set out below the Soulstrology zodiac guide for this Full Moon which highlights the life areas which are being illuminated for your sign (and rising sign if you know it).
If you want to dig a little further please go online (we are still trying to find a suitable chart calculator to embed on the site!) and cast your chart to see where 8 degrees Sagittarius falls exactly (sometimes we can have one zodiac sign ruling two parts of our chart) and what planets you may have in Sagittarius between 5 and 11 degrees (this is close enough to the Full Moon to be activated by it).
Understanding the life areas illuminated at this Full Moon as well as the themes of any planets which are being activated, will help you harness the energy of the Sagittarius Full Moon to your advantage.
Now, I don't think I need to tell you all that Saturn, the stern cosmic life coach, was in transit of Sagittarius between December 2014 and December 2017.
For each of us this would have meant the Sagittarius ruled parts of each of our lives was subjected to a rigorous examination by stern Saturn.
This would have highlighted any weak foundations, anything that wasn't sturdy or capable of successful growth, or anything that was 'flawed' as such in the Sagittarius ruled parts of our charts and would have brought this to our attention in that kind of harsh way that Saturn does.
We would also have been subjected to the tests, trials and tribulations of Saturn who makes us work very hard to meet his standards in the areas of life which he is transiting.
Ultimately Saturn is not a punisher, but a great cosmic pusher.
He pushes us to be the best version of ourselves, to wake up and smell the coffee and to separate the wheat from the chaff so that we can be, do and have our best.
Whilst this process is not always pleasant and indeed can be painful (or at best, just tiresome) it is ultimately for our highest good.
Saturn is the task master but he rewards hard work and is known for bestowing gifts upon his departure of a certain area of life, based on how hard you worked to do what it was that you needed for your unique journey.
I suspect that at the end of last year when Saturn moved into Capricorn many of us were seeking our rewards.
Aka - hello Saturn and merry Christmas, happy Chanukah, happy holidays and urm where's my Saturn in Sagittarius reward?!
However, we must remember that sometimes the reward can take a while to be visible as a physical manifestation in our lives.
Imagine that the seed was planted at the end of the Saturn in Sagittarius transit and it has been growing underneath the surface and is ready to sprout over this Full Moon...
Full Moons relate to a New Moon which occurred six months previously.
Soulstrology tells us that at a Full Moon something we put into motion - seeds we planted - whether within our consciousness or on the physical plane six months prior at the corresponding New Moon- can come to fruition or completion.
This is particularly interesting at this Full Moon because when the Sagittarius Full Moon took place last year (December 17/18) Saturn was still in Sagittarius.
This assisted us because we had his energy of perseverance, structure and stability upon which to set our intentions.
Now, six months later, with some of us perhaps scratching our heads and asking, 'Where is the gift/reward' we may find that this is the time for that reward to be received, because as much as Full Moons are about healing and releasing and completion they are also about matters coming to celebratory completion and fruition.
But let's go back a minute to the healing aspect of a Full Moon.
Soulstrology tells us that this Sagittarius Full Moon is a wonderful opportunity to do some final healing, releasing and purging of any issues which Saturn in Sagittarius brought up for us.
It is a time when we can conduct a final farewell to situations, people, karmic lessons and say, 'thanks for the lessons and goodbye'.
It is a time when we can ask the lunar spotlight to illuminate for us what residue may be left over from the Saturn in Sagittarius transit within our psyche which may need to be healed so that we can move forwards and manifest more effortlessly in certain areas of life.
Now each of us would have had a different experience of Saturn in Sagittarius.
I conducted a poll on our Soulstrology Members only Facebook page and whilst the majority found Saturn in Sag pretty tough (yours truly included) there were definitely some who found it relatively stress free.
*Side note - only 10 percent of our Soulstrology Members responded to the FB request, no pressure to join if it isn't your thing, but we would love to have you if it is and I think it is a fun way of connecting to a cosmic community!)*
Soulstrology tells us that there is no right or wrong way to experience a transit.
It is what it is and it is based upon not only that specific transit, but other transits we are simultaneously experiencing (based on our unique chart) and where we are on our soul's journey.
Similarly, we may have a mixed experience of this Full Moon, with some feeling all the feels in a 'bad' way and some feeling all the feels in a more positive way.
Remember it is the lead up to the Full Moon itself, the day of the Full Moon (and sometimes the day after) which can be the most intense and will illuminate for us how best we need to work with this particular cosmic window.
Regardless of what is coming up for each of us at this time, Soulstrology tells us that the theme of this Sagittarius Full Moon is faith.
Faith over fear, because our futures are as bright as our faith, and don't we all want a bright future?
Sagittarius is the lucky zodiac optimist.
Ruled by cosmic benefic Jupiter, this sign is all about miracles.
But the miracle appears in the mind first before it is seen on the physical plane.
The miracle is birthed and fueled through optimism and faith.
At the time of this Full Moon, the ruler of Sagittarius, Jupiter, makes a beautiful trine aspect to Neptune.
This is a harmonious aspect which means the light of the two planets can be experienced all at once in synchronicity.
The light of Jupiter is optimism, kindness, faith, healing and miracles.
The light of Neptune is spirituality, compassion, unconditional love (that is as endless as the ocean which Neptune rules) and creativity.
This is a magical aspect which is heightened by the fact that Jupiter is in powerful Scorpio who rules regeneration and rebirth as well as power.
Regardless of how each us are feeling at this time we must each have faith that this Full Moon offers us a chance not only the opportunity for a rebirth but also to experience miracles and soulful power which manifests on the physical plane.
That Saturn in Sagittarius gift may well be yours very soon...
I recorded a special Soulstrology Members only Soundbath for this Full Moon (it's coming tomorrow on your Member newsletter as well as on a special Full Moon extra Soulstrology note for each zodiac sign!) which has the sounds and vibrations of both Jupiter and Earth.
I would listen to this as well as the general Full Moon Chiron Soundbath (use your search button and you will find it but just so you know this Member area is having it's own rebirth and very soon will look like it's own little site making it easier for you to read and access everything!) so that you can meditate and tune into what this Full Moon is bringing up for you.
Perhaps after some form of meditation ask yourself the following questions: -
1) Where am I still experiencing difficulty in the Sagittarius ruled parts of my life (see Soulstrology zodiac guide below for life areas highlighted for you)
2) Am I feeling stuck or stilted or in a rut in some way in the Sagittarius ruled parts of my life?
3) What lessons which appeared between end December 2014 and end December 2017 still keep appearing in my life and/or do I know I have not yet integrated or learned from? (these can be general life lessons and/or issues, do not have to be specific to the Sag ruled parts of your chart).
4) What do I feel I need to heal from my psyche which may be blocking me in some way? If there is any fear, or pessimism in any area of life then write it down, identify it!
5) What people, situations or lessons am I ready to say a final goodbye to and gain closure on?
Answer these questions and then come up with your burn and release list using the following wording.
'I release all of the below because it does not serve me or my highest good. By releasing the below I make space for new positive energy to come in and help manifest my desires for my highest good and the greater good'.
Depending on how you are feeling and how Saturn in Sag was for you, you may also want to write a letter of gratitude - to the cosmos, the universe, G-d, your angels and guides, whoever!
I like to write such letters at Full Moon thanking the cosmos for the good, the bad and the ugly, explaining what I feel I have learned and integrated and what I need help on.
Sometimes I write this letter in my journal and sometimes I like to write it on a piece of paper and actually enjoy burning it afterwards and releasing that energy into the cosmos...
Even if you are not feeling it at this time I ask each of you harness faith as your fuel to navigate this Full Moon.
Faith it until you make it.
Because faith will fulfill your desires.
