New Moon Scorpio November 2018: Forgiveness so you can flourish

Happy almost New Moon in Scorpio!

This New Moon takes place on Wednesday November 7 2018 at just after 8am PT here in Los Angeles (adjust for your timezone).

It falls at 15 degrees of the watery sign of Scorpio.

Check where Scorpio rules in your chart using the Soulstrology Zodiac guide to this New Moon below and if you are more of a Soulstrology pro then look for exactly where 15 degrees of Scorpio falls and any planets you have between 12 and 18 degrees of Scorpio as they will get triggered by this New Moon.

This Scorpio New Moon falls on a day when there is so much else happening in the cosmos too….

Uranus retrograde sashays back into Aries for the next few months (I have written a separate Soulstrology blog on this which will be available on 11/7) and the nodes move into the Cancer/Capricorn axis (this is significant but I will write on this properly in time to come as it isn’t of huge importance right at this second).

Last but not least, Jupiter - who has you all know has been in Scorpio since October last year, bringing healing, growth and hopefully some miracles to the Scorpio ruled parts of each of our lives -finishes his last transit of Scorpio for another twelve years and prepares to enter Sagittarius (Soulstrology blog on this dropping this Thursday!).

So there is lots happening which although not directly related to this New Moon still sets a pretty powerful backdrop to the Scorpio New Moon, although of course we have Venus retrograde and Mercury retrograde shadow bringing their somewhat muddled energies to the mix….

But for now, and the purposes of how best we can each work with this New Moon, lets turn to the Soulstrology theme for the New Moon - Forgiveness so you can flourish.

Scorpio as I am sure you all know is a sign knowing for being a powerful, intense sign and in spite of all its positive traits often gets a bad rap for some of its shadow traits - they are known (sometimes unfairly so!) for being vengeful and seeking revenge if they are wronged.

However, as the sayings go… anger and revenge may seem justified and may result in hurting others, but ultimately will only hurt us too…

Forgiveness is such a powerful act.

It is not for the weak, it is for the strong, the soulful, the cosmic warriors.

And it is also such a powerful manifesting tool

When we forgive others (and/or ourselves) we pull back that energy which has been leaked into anger and retribution, or regret (the latter particularly so when we are angry with ourselves and unable to forgive ourselves).

When this energy returns to us it can be channeled into the right direction so that we can manifest our desires and create the future we desire.

When you forgive, you in no way change the past, but you sure do change the future

Bernard Meltzer

The Scorpio ruled parts of each of our lives has received the assistance of great cosmic benefic Jupiter over the last year.

He has come in and shown us what needs healing, helped us heal, helped us grow and expand and in many cases brought miracles our way.

As we embrace this New Moon and set our intentions for the lunar month ahead we should also be thinking about this Jupiter in Scorpio transit and what it has brought us and how we can truly eek out the last day of Jupiter’s transit in Scorpio and the powerful energies of this New Moon to create the future we desire, by focusing on forgiveness.

Venus retrograde may have brought back the past in a painful way.

Issues around love, self-worth, money, may have arisen and made us realize that we had wounds which were not yet truly healed, wounds which are preventing us from receiving and manifesting our desires.

The past may have come knocking and with it brought up old hurts for final healing and/or closure.

All these issues may have made us realize where we are perhaps holding onto anger, where we feel regret, betrayal, a sense of righteous vengeance in some cases, ultimately where we are being a prisoner by our perception of events.

Now is the time to let it all go.

It doesn’t matter if you are right. It matters that you are prepared to let things go.

It matters that you are prepared to forgive yourself, others, G-d, the universe, whoever/whatever it is that has caused you pain.

It matters that you do this with every inch of your mind, body and soul so you feel that forgiveness reverberate through your body and it transmutes energy you’ve been holding onto and creates an energetic shift so you can go forwards and manifest the destiny of your dreams.

The cosmos assists us as always.

With the New Moon making a beautiful trine aspect to compassionate, spiritual Neptune in Pisces, we can harness those beautiful watery energies to transmute our feelings into those which truly serve us - those of forgiveness, compassion and trust.

At the time of the New Moon Venus in retrograde motion makes a tough opposition aspect to Uranus (who will at the time of the New Moon be retrograde in Aries).

This energy can be harnessed to heal our relationships.

No matter what, if we can view past or current relationship issues as two people playing out karma, then we can take back our power and control (all Scorpio themes) to release any hurts, anger and vengeance and in doing so create the space for what we do want to manifest in our lives.

Venus makes a beautiful sextile aspect to Mars.

This aids us in balancing those traditionally male and female energies of giving and receiving, of peace and war, of emotional love and connection and raw sexual energy.

It can help us balance those aspects within ourselves as well as in our relationships with others.

Today as the moon disappears from the night sky in preparation for the New Moon, take the time to think about all these themes and perhaps ask yourselves the following questions: -

  1. Where am I holding onto past hurts?

  2. Who do I feel vengeful towards?

  3. Who am I struggling to forgive (can be yourself, or others)?

  4. What am I trying to manifest in the Scorpio ruled parts of my chart?

  5. How can I infuse these themes of forgiveness into the Scorpio ruled areas of life in my chart so it can help me to make space to manifest?

Soulstrology Scopes with mantras will be dropping later this afternoon so keep an eye out for them.

In the meantime you can use the Soulstrology zodiac guide below to review the life areas being brought into the cosmic spotlight tomorrow and over the next lunar cycle.

Love,
