Full Moon in Scorpio April 2018 Part 1: Heal first, manifest later

Ambi Sitham

Hello lovely ones and happy (hopefully!) nearly Full Moon!

The Scorpio Full Moon takes place this Sunday evening at 6.58pm PT (adjust for your timezones) and falls at 9 degrees of Scorpio.

To see which life areas are being illuminated at this Full Moon check where you have Scorpio ruling your natal chart, and specifically where 9 degrees of Scorpio falls (sometimes we can have one sign covering two houses in our natal charts so the 9 degrees may fall in one house over another).

Also, see what planets you have which are between 6-12 degrees of Scorpio (and take into consideration the themes and life areas ruled by these planets) because these will be cosmically pinged by the Full Moon too.

Scorpio is one of the most intense signs which is ruled by one of the most intense planets - Pluto.

It is unsurprising really that this sign is so intense when you consider the life areas it governs - sex, money, death, transformation and power.

Since October 2017, Jupiter the cosmic benefic has been transiting Scorpio and infusing the Scorpio ruled areas of life with his energies, for each of us and the world at large.

Whilst Jupiter is known for being a miracle maker, people forget that he is also a great healer and that healing is often the first step to receiving miracles.

Since his entry into Scorpio we have seen many sex scandals be exposed with awful stories of sexual harassment and assault which have taken place in all corners of the world, in all industries.

This has resulted in perpetrators being brought to justice (as I write this Bill Cosby has been found guilty of sexual assault in his retrial case) and losing their positions of power which they abused in order to abuse others.

These scandals have birthed the #metoo movement and a new era in which society at large is seeking to eradicate this type of harassment and assault of women which has for far too long been swept under the carpet.

And this is the gift of Jupiter.

And the first stage of his transit of any sign.

He brings to the light what must be revealed, so it can be healed.

Soulstrology tells us that at this Full Moon we must all look at what we need to heal so that we can receive.

As per the title of this blog (and my mini podcast for you all!) the Soulstrology theme is 'heal first, manifest later'.

Look carefully at the life areas ruled by Scorpio in the natural zodiac.

What do you need to heal around sex?

Finances, particularly joint finances?

Around power and control?

Transformation, 'death' and loss?

Where are you stuck in manifesting in these areas of life?

Take note. Journal. Be honest and raw with yourself.

Then look at the life areas governed by Scorpio in your unique chart (so both your natal chart based on your rising sign and your solar chart based on your sun sign).

Ask yourself the same questions.

Where are you stuck with manifesting in these areas of life?

What needs healing, releasing, clearing?

THIS is the work which needs to be done leading up to and at this Full Moon and this is the gift that Jupiter is bestowing on us - great healing, which makes space for great manifesting.

This Full Moon squares the Moon's nodes (karma/destiny) and Soulstrology tells us that there is something very karmic about this Full Moon, in terms of finally healing and releasing old baggage which we may have been carrying around for lifetimes, not just dealing with in this lifetime.

Both the South and North nodes of the moon are activated telling us that there is old karma to resolve (South node) in order for a new destiny to be received (North node).

If things are coming up for you in the lead up to this Full Moon know that is the cosmos showing you what Jupiter wants to heal for you, so that you can ultimately receive the miracles which await and fulfill your true destiny!

As always we will each be at a different stage of our soul's journey and evolution and some of us may have already gone through the journey of healing what we need to vis a vis Scorpio themes.

In those cases this Full Moon can be a time where matters come to fruition and a time of celebratory completion.

This is amplified by the fact that this Full Moon sextiles Saturn in Capricorn (giving it that grounding and status cementing energy) and that at the time of the Full Moon cosmic manifestor Mars is conjunct powerhouse Pluto, also in Capricorn.

Mars conjunct Pluto at the highest octave is power and success and major manifesting!

However the shadow of this is major disagreements and tension, leading to arguments and all out explosions/war!

As always there is a duality to each planetary aspect and there are always different outcomes available for each of us, but we just need to work as mindfully as we can with the energies to get the best out of the situation.

Soulstrology tells us that it befits each of us (even if life may be going well) to focus on the theme of healing at this Full Moon.

Because healing is an ongoing process in life and is part of the process of alchemy which allows us to transform ourselves and our lives.

Healing can be chaotic, ugly and brutal - or brutiful as I like to call it.

But sometimes it is more subtle - quieter, softer and more gentle.

Healing is sometimes about the mind, sometimes the heart and at other times the body.

Either way, it is always about healing our souls.

As we heal our physical beings and our physical existences we align further with our higher selves.

When we align further with our higher selves, we are able to integrate the best version of ourselves with our earthly existence.

We are able to manifest, enjoy success and the power that Scorpio imbues.

But it must all happen internally, within, before it can happen externally.

Change is the only constant.

And each of us is in an ongoing process of transformation whether we realize it or not.

This Full Moon is our one opportunity to do some conscious, focused healing in order to harness the miracles of this Jupiter in Scorpio transit which ends in November and won't return for another 11/12 years.

So we must use this lead up to this Full Moon wisely to get the most out of not only the current cosmic weather, but also the year long Jupiter in Scorpio transit.

As I indicated in the title of this blog, this post is Part 1.

Part 2 is coming on Sunday and will contain the general mantras and more.

For now, please read this blog, journal on the themes coming up and look at the Soulstrology zodiac guide below to see which life areas are being illuminated for you.

I will be back on Sunday.

Much love until then,

Ambi x
