Hello lovely ones!
I hope this finds you all well and having survived that intense Aries Full Moon…
So here we are in the season of Fall with a new month around the corner and power player Pluto turning direct this Sunday September 30th at 18 degrees of Capricorn.
As you all probably know by now, Pluto has been in Capricorn since 2008 and has been wreaking havoc in all things Capricorn related in the wider world and in the Capricorn ruled parts of each of our lives.
We are over midway through this cycle and still in the flux of real change when it comes to the powers that be - governments, big banks, the patriarchy - ‘authorities’ of all kind (all under Capricorn’s rule).
By 2024 we will have collectively birthed an entirely new era across the world at large and in the Capricorn ruled parts of each of our lives.
In 2020 when there is a stellium of planets in Capricorn, we will have a hint as to what this new era looks like - both individually and collectively.
Until then it is our jobs to pro-actively co-create our desires with the cosmos.
Many of you may recall from the Pluto retrograde blog earlier this year that the Soulstrology theme for this Pluto retrograde was ‘Power comes from within’.
So hopefully you would have all been (at some point in the last five months) working on creating power from within, in a soulful way which can then be expressed outwardly and may lead to ‘power’ or ‘status’ on the physical plane, but is ultimately soulful power.
Now as Pluto turns direct and picks up momentum, the Soulstrology theme is the purpose of this power.
Each of us are asked to tune into the true purpose of power and status in our lives.
Power is a privilege.
And privileges are not to be utilized solely for our own purpose (or abused in anyway) but rather to be used carefully for a higher purpose.
As Voltaire said,
With great power comes great responsibility
Soulstrology tells us that personal power bestows us with the ability to manifest many blessings in our lives but those blessings can turn into curses if we are not careful.
To be ‘careful’ in this sense is to have consciousness. It is to have humility.
It is to embrace power but to use it carefully, for highest good and the greater good of all.
As Pluto retraces his steps in the zodiac (and in the Capricorn ruled parts of our charts - from 18 degrees back to 21) we may experience a shift in our personal power in the Capricorn ruled parts of our charts.
Of course we all have our goals and dreams and want to manifest them and it may well be that as our personal power is strengthened things we have worked hard towards start to fall into place.
This is to be celebrated!
But with consciousness.
Checking in with ourselves as to our motivations, as to whether the use of our power, our status is really for our highest good and the greater good of all.
Power can be a very positive thing, if used carefully and with consciousness.
If not, then as we see with the patriarchy and awful situations in this country and around the world, power is poisonous. It can poison others and eventually the power player too…
Check for exactly where you have 18-21 degrees of Capricorn in your chart (as well as any planets you may have in Capricorn around 16-23 degrees as they will have been ‘activated’ by this Pluto retrograde and now direct) to see the life areas being highlighted for you, where you may experience a shift in power, but where you must remind yourself of the purpose of power.
For an easier way of checking in, simply check the Soulstrology zodiac guide below (and remember to read for both your Sun and Rising sign).
May we each experience a shift in power but may we each use our personal power with consciousness, for our highest good and the greater good of all.
May the blessings we manifest bring only goodness to our lives and those of others.
And so it is.
