Soulstrology Scopes Capricorn Full Moon Lunar Eclipse July 2019

Ambi Sitham

Soulstrology Scopes Capricorn LunarEclipse.png

Hello lovely ones and happy almost Capricorn lunar eclipse Full Moon!

Below are your coaching questions for this Capricorn lunar eclipse and your customized Capricorn ritual. I have also curated a selection of Soulstrology Soundbaths which I feel would be helpful for you to listen to at this time, but as always, if you feel called to listen to alternative ones, just head over to the Soundbath section, have a browse and listen to what calls you.

  1. Review the natural zodiac Capricorn themes in your life, so the themes/concepts of career, ambition, goals, success, status, authority, but also on a more soulful level, the mountain’s peak you wish to reach which represents ‘achievement’ and ‘success’ to you. Remember this will be purely professional for some but can differ for each of us. Give these areas of life a rating (out of 10) in terms of your satisfaction.

  2. Write down what you would like to release and let go of in relation to these areas of life, and what you would also like to heal and transform. Journal around what may have ‘died’ or is decaying in these areas of life and how you may need to face this, let it go, in order to allow something new to be birthed.

  3. Now review the Capricorn ruled themes in your unique chart (for ease of reference, I have included the Soulstrology zodiac guide to this Full Moon lunar eclipse below). As in 1. above, give these areas of life a rating (out of 10) in terms of your satisfaction.

  4. As per 2.above now write down what you would like to release and let go of in relation to these areas of life, and what you would also like to heal and transform. Journal around what may have ‘died’ or is decaying in these areas of life and how you may need to face this, let it go, in order to allow something new to be birthed.

  5. On a piece of paper mark up two columns. The left column can be called ‘goals’ and the right column ‘reality’. In the left column make a list of your main goals in relation to both the natural zodiac Capricorn themes (as outlined in 1. above) and the unique Capricorn areas of life in your chart. In the right column make a corresponding entry for the (current) reality of that goal and where it is towards manifesting.

  6. Journal on any spaces between the two lists. Between your Capricorn goals and your Capricorn reality. As a result, you may find yourself coming up with more responses to questions 2. and 4. above.

  7. Using your responses to questions 2, 4 and 6 above, come up with a burn and release list of all things you wish to let go of at this time, that you wish to heal, to transform etc.

  8. Listen to a Soulstrology Soundbath. I recommend the Chiron Full Moon soundbath as it is focused on healing and transforming. Either before or after listening to the Soundbath, burn your release list. Just before you burn it, make sure to read it out loud, and really feel the words of what you are releasing.

  9. Ground in some way. As Capricorn is an earth sign, getting out into nature, for a walk/hike is always a good grounding ritual. But if you are time poor and/or live in an urban environment, even a few minutes of standing barefoot in a garden, outside, can help you to connect to earth and ground after your burn and release ritual.

  10. Cleanse in some way. As we are still in Cancer season, and as always at a Full Moon, a water ritual is powerful. It can be anything from lighting a candle, some sage, palo santo and drinking a glass of water or relaxing herbal tea, to a full on shower meditation and/or salt bath where you visualize the water cleaning you physically, energetically, emotionally, spiritually, in all ways.

  11. Now come back to your responses to questions 5. and 6. above. Reviewing your notes, come up with a third column (which you can write on the same list, or on a separate piece of paper/journal/whatever works) and come up with your practical, grounded, earthy Capricorn to do list. Having had the reality checks you perhaps needed, how can you now have a clear action plan of how to make your Capricorn dreams a reality?

  12. Once you have come up with this list, keep it handy. You will be referring to it intermittently between now and the Capricorn solar eclipse at the end of the year and we will be using it to conduct a ritual come the Fall Equinox!

  13. Listen to another Soulstrology Soundbath, I suggest the guided Jupiter and Pluto soundbath, or the Jupiter/Earth Soundbath so I have placed these below. Before/after/as you listen, read the Capricorn Full Moon Lunar eclipse mantras and perhaps even refer to your list in 11 and visualize yourself taking these actions towards your goals, how it feels and what it yields.

  14. Celebrate! Your work is done. The cosmos asks us to co-create and you have just conducted a powerful ritual. You’ve cleared the weeds, planted the seeds and have your action plan. Now just ride out those cosmic waves.

CAPRICORN LUNAR ECLIPSE MANTRAS

I know that endings are necessary for new beginnings

And so I face any losses, destruction, or endings at this time, with the faith that they are a necessary part of my process and journey

With this in mind I let go of all that is decaying and does not serve me: people, situations, ways of being, outdated goals and so on

I face my current reality with the confidence, trusting I have the ability to make the necessary changes to help me manifest what it is I desire

I am pragmatic about the space between my reality and my desires and know that this pragmatism will enable me to take practical action to realize my dreams

I savor the work of this Lunar Eclipse ritual having faith in how it will serve my life and the manifestation of my most cherished goals, helping me reach the summit of my personal mountain

And so it is!

Capricorn Full Moon Lunar eclipse July 2019: Reality checks and rebirths

Ambi Sitham

Cap Lunar Eclipse.png

Hello lovely ones and happy almost Full Moon lunar eclipse in Capricorn!

This partial lunar eclipse/Full Moon takes place at 2.38pm PT on Tuesday July 16 2019, adjust for your timezone to work out what time it will be taking place for you.

The lunar eclipse/Full Moon falls at 24 degrees of Capricorn, so if you are more of a Soulstrology pro and familiar with your chart then please check if you have any planets or points at 24 degrees of Capricorn, because if you do, then they will be directly activated by this Full Moon lunar eclipse as this Moon will be conjunct that planet/point. Which will make this a very powerful Full Moon eclipse for you!

Even if you have planets between 21 - 27 degrees of Capricorn, these are close enough by to be activated by the Full Moon lunar eclipse, so again, check your chart if you are familiar with reading it in this way.

For a more simple way of checking where this Full Moon lunar eclipse falls, you can just refer to the Soulstrology zodiac guide at the bottom of this post, reading for both your Sun and Rising sign to see the life areas being illuminated under the lunar spotlight.

As always the natural zodiac themes will apply to each of us, meaning that we each need to consider the Capricorn themes of success, status, solid foundations and structures, career, ambition, goals, achievement and maturity at this time.

You are all probably aware that we are in eclipse season and that this Capricorn Full Moon is also a lunar eclipse, making it an extra charged Full Moon, in other words, more intense than the usual Full Moons and also creating a more powerful cosmic window of opportunity for us to work with.

This Full Moon lunar eclipse brings to fruition the January 5 2019 Capricorn solar eclipse and marks a powerful turning point for our 2019 experience.

Your Soulstrology Scopes will help you to work with this potent cosmic portal, with cosmic coaching, a ritual and more, but for the purposes of this post, I wanted to share the Soulstrology cosmic consciousness, which alone, even without your Soulstrology Scopes (if rituals and homework are not your thing), will help you to navigate the Capricorn Full Moon.

As you can no doubt see from the title of this post the Soulstrology theme for this lunar eclipse is ‘Reality checks and rebirths’.

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the cosmic life coach and zodiac taskmaster, who sees things as they are, in black and white, and is associated with ‘reality’ and indeed at times, with harsh reality checks..

At this time, Saturn is sat right by the South Node, that point in the zodiac which relates to the collective karma we are each uniquely working through on an individual basis.

The South Node represents the past, what we are accustomed to, what comes easily to us, what is our comfort zone.

It also represents talents or gifts which we have, things which come naturally and easily to us.

The South Node isn’t ‘bad’ by any means (and Soulstrology teaches us no planet or aspect is really ‘bad’), however the South Node can represent a ‘rut’ of sorts, something we are trying to move away from in this lifetime and karmic baggage.

Saturn rules many things, from success, status and achievement, to our limitations and fears.

At this particular Full Moon, the placement of Saturn so closely to the South Node means that we are being asked the extent to which our old ways, habits, comfort zones, ruts and our fears, may be limiting us and stopping us from creating the foundations for success, from achieving our goals, climbing the proverbial mountain (Capricorn is the mountain goat after all) and ultimately getting to the top of the mountain, whatever that may uniquely look like for each of us.

We are also being given the opportunity to get really real about our 2019 experience and for some of us this may mean a huge reality check, taking stock of our goals and vision for 2019 and looking at where we are in the middle of the year.

Saturn asks us to see clearly what our limitations are, and how we may be limiting ourselves, whether through our beliefs, our actions, which keeps us stuck, or in a rut.

This may be far from pleasant for some, who will have a rude awakening and a rather harsh reality check, but remember, even in such cases, this is designed to serve us.

We aren’t being punished, in truth we are being pushed.

Pushed to break free of limiting beliefs and fears, pushed to get out of our own ways, with self-sabotaging behaviors, and pushed to break free of our own limitations, so we can be who we are supposed to be, and receive our destined dues.

When people talk about manifesting (and remember Capricorn/Saturn are the ultimate manifestors!) they can be all talk and no action. Or all talk and the wrong action…

At this time, we can look back clearly on our 2019 goals and visions and take stock of where we are at, and where necessary, hold ourselves accountable for what is, or what isn’t happening.

Full Moons are an intense time and the fact this is a lunar eclipse which also takes place during a mercury retrograde, makes this one even more intense.

We must know that wherever we are right now is a result of our actions.

What happens next and where we go next, will be a result of what we choose to do next.

Saturn and the South Node hold us accountable at this time and will show us, that in truth, we are reaping (or not) what we have sown.

Meanwhile Venus sits by the North Node opposing Saturn and the South Node.

This aspect offers differing outcomes and duality (as Soulstrology teaches us, most aspects do).

On the one hand, this tense opposition aspect adds to the energy of somewhat harsh reality checks, with reality and lessons (Saturn) perhaps squashing some of our romantic, financial or creative notions (Venus) and showing us what we need to move away from (the South Node) in order to achieve (Saturn) harmony, be creatively productive, live in abundance, receive love (Venus).

Oppositions are often feared, but they are often what bring results and shifts things in our lives.

For some, this opposition aspect will see a fruition of creative, financial, or romantic endeavors, which leads to success, or a change in status in some way and helps the individual to both grow and climb their unique mountain, go further towards the peak and achieve their destiny (the North Node).

Both Venus and Neptune (in the water signs of Cancer and Pisces respectively) make a harmonious trine aspect to each other and Neptune sextiles Saturn, meaning that the somewhat differing energies of the softer, more romantic, dreamy and creative, flowing water signs and love filled planets can work with the grounded, practical, realism of earthy Saturn in Capricorn.

Reality checks are undoubtedly the name of this lunar eclipse’s games and sometimes reality checks bring literal checks and ‘rewards’ of all sorts, whereas at other times, they can be harsher for us to deal with.

Either way, we must remember that we are not victims of external circumstances.

We are active participants in our lives, through our decisions, our actions, our responses.

Life doesn’t happen to us, it happens through us.

Saturn reminds us of this at this time, and that we truly do reap what we sow.

We need to take what is happening at this time, where our lives are (or aren’t) and take responsibility for it.

By taking responsibility and doing the work (Saturn) we will in time achieve our desires.

As the saying goes, it is never too late to become what you might have been.

Soulstrology says that eclipse season reminds us that it is not too late to have the 2019 we desire, but we do need to get real, roll up our sleeves and do the work to get to where we want to be.

The other big theme of this Capricorn Full Moon lunar eclipse is that of rebirths, thanks to power player Pluto who sits by the moon in Capricorn.

Although not an exact conjunction, the placement of Pluto so close to the Moon may prove very intense.

Pluto does not mess about and he can have us feeling all the feels.

He brings everything to the surface, all the darkness that may be lurking underneath, or purposefully swept under the carpet, Pluto will drag into the light of the lunar spotlight, so that we can see it, feel it, heal it and transform it.

Pluto’s energies are associated with destruction and ‘death’ of sorts.

And while the Soulstrology theme of this Full Moon lunar eclipse is that of rebirths, we must remember that rebirths often come from ‘death’ and endings.

In fact the destruction, or death is a necessary part of the rebirth.

Because as the saying goes, destruction is often the first act of creation.

It is very likely that many will experience an ending at this time.

Maybe it will relate to a matter on the physical plane.

Or maybe it will be more energetic.

An internal shift, the ending of a way of thinking, being and doing.

Either way, this ending is necessary and in truth it offers us a fantastic opportunity for transformation and a powerful rebirth.

For some this may be the result of reaping the rewards of their work over the last six months, bringing success and celebration, offering a powerful rebirth and new chapter in which to pursue more of the same.

For others, this may mean the cosmos seemingly imposing endings and bringing destruction, meaning we experience painful endings, but ultimately, as always, it is for our highest good.

Either way, whether we are celebrating achievement at this time, or commiserating endings and focusing on healing, we can harness these powerful celestial energies as the catalyst for creating the remainder of our 2019 experience and to make this the year we wanted it to be back in January when we all sat with our New Year’s resolutions, or our Solar Eclipse manifesting lists, or, to make the rest of this year, what we want it to be, given where we are at right now in our lives.

Reality checks and rebirths, a powerful portal to bring completion, closure and to move forward into a new chapter.

This is what Soulstrology teaches us this powerful Capricorn Full Moon eclipse offers each of us.

What we do with this information, will determine what comes next.

For now, I recommend reviewing your chart, sitting with the life areas bubbling up into the lunar spotlight and the themes of this Full Moon.

Your Soulstrology Scopes (coming soon) will provide the customized cosmic coaching, ritual and a selection of curated Soulstrology Soundbaths to assist you with working with these energies in a more practical way.

More coming soon…

Mercury Retrograde in Leo and Cancer July 2019

Ambi Sitham

Merc Retro Leo & Cancer.png

Hello lovely ones,

Hopefully this finds you all faring well, having navigated the first eclipse and not drowning in a tsunami of flames as depicted by this image!

Just to add to the cosmic intensity this month we also have Mercury ‘s retrograde to contend with, in both Leo and Cancer.

Mercury’s retrograde begins this Sunday July 7 at 4 degrees of Leo and will continue until July 31 when Mercury stations direct at 24 degrees Cancer.

First and foremost, if you can look at your chart and check where you have these degrees of Leo/Cancer in your chart (so from 24 degrees Cancer moving through to 4 degrees Leo) you will be able to see exactly where this retrograde is impacting you and perhaps even any natal planets you have that are going to be impacted by this retrograde.

If you are a Leo/Leo rising or a Cancer/Cancer rising, or have specific planets or points in your chart between 24 degrees Cancer through to 4 degrees Leo, then you will feel this retrograde more than others.

If you were born with Mercury retrograde in your natal chart (and specifically if you have Mercury in Cancer or Leo) you may well enjoy this period as it is one in which you may feel more ‘understood’ and as though your thoughts and communications are flowing properly.

If you are a Soulstrology newbie or none of the above applies to you, then you can simply use the Soulstrology zodiac guides below to see the areas of life ruled by both Cancer and Leo in your natal chart, which in turn are the areas of life which may be impacted over the next few weeks.

Regardless of our sign, our natal chart, or whether we were born with Mercury retrograde, we all need to watch out for the usual Mercury retrograde snafus - miscommunications, mail not being delivered properly, emails going missing in cyber space, misunderstandings, technology issues, travel snafus etc.

It’s a time in which we all need to take extra care with what we say, what we do, where and how we travel, and our technology, just because these are all themes which can be subject to Mercury’s mischief.

However, and I feel like a broken record saying this, but it must be said: Mercury’s retrograde is also a powerful portal for us to work with the cosmic energies and reset/rebirth ourselves or an area of our lives.

Some of the biggest miracles in my life, both personal and professional, have taken place during a Mercury retrograde (and no, I was not born with Mercury retrograde in my natal chart).

Sometimes the past can come knocking in the best possible way, with an opportunity for healing, closure, or a fresh start.

Sometimes past endeavors (or people) we have given up on can return for revival and a rebirth.

At other times, it is just a great opportunity for a redo, or reset!

As always, as Soulstrology teaches each of us, that the stars impel but they do not compel.

Mercury’s retrograde is going to happen whether we like it or not, but it doesn’t have to be ‘bad’, what we need to do, is work with it mindfully in order to extract the best possible outcome for our lives.

You can read my 2014 Huffington Post piece on Mercury retrograde for timeless advice and practical tips on how to make any Mercury retrograde mindful, versus murky.

Onward, it is no cosmic coincidence, but rather a beautiful synchronicity, that this retrograde takes place halfway through the year during eclipse season and also in one of the signs which we have experienced eclipses and big shifts in (Leo) in the last couple of years, and one of the signs we are currently experiencing eclipses and therefore big shifts in (Cancer).

It is as though the cosmos is asking us to look back at the shifts which took place in the Leo ruled areas of life (triggered by the Leo/Aquarius eclipses of the last couple of years) and tie up any loose ends and make sure that things are as we desire them to be. A beautiful opportunity to REflect and REset!

Equally, the Cancer ruled parts of our charts and lives is currently undergoing huge transformation and will continue to over the next 18 months, so we are able to harness the power of Mercury retrograde to do more reflecting, reviewing and reconciling around certain themes and/or areas of life.

For each of us, regardless of our sign, the following themes, known as the natural zodiac themes of Leo and Cancer (in other words the areas of life that they traditionally rule for each of us) may pop up for retrograde resolution.

Leo

Love, dating, romance

Fun and joy, socializing and downtime

Children, whether yours, others, children you wish to have, the role of children in your life, and your inner child

Creativity, self-expression and your unique creative light that makes you, you

Pride, courage, passion

Cancer

Family and family life, past, present or future

Your private, domestic life and your inner self

Home - who, what and where is home to you

Motherhood/parenthood

Your emotions and your emotional health

These areas of life and the areas of life for your sign (read for both your Sun and Rising sign) in the Soulstrology Mercury retrograde zodiac guides below, are the areas of life that may either pop up for you with a Mercury retrograde snafu, or are ones in which you may wish to reflect upon and reset.

With Mercury’s retrograde in Leo, we need to be mindful that we are not too fiery or headstrong/proud.

Fiery foot in mouth syndrome backed with an ego dose of pride can have its ramifications, which aren’t necessarily so pleasant or for the highest good of anyone…

With Mercury’s retrograde in Cancer, we need to watch out for being overly emotional, or overly withdrawing in our shells and not expressing our truth, and/or being a ‘victim’ of circumstances.

When our emotions get away with us, it can lead to outbursts which have a domino effect.

If we completely withdraw, we don’t serve ourselves, or others, and actually this is a form of ‘victim syndrome’ too….

All food for thought as we approach this retrograde and the powerful lunar eclipse…

Take the time to review both this blog, my Huff Po piece, and the Soulstrology zodiac guides to see where and how this forthcoming retrograde may impact you, but remember, whatever happens, is happening for you, not to you.

You have the power within to make this a mindful experience, even if there is some mayhem, and who knows, maybe even extract a miracle or two out of this retrograde….

I have included some Soulstrology Soundbaths in this post which I feel will be of most use during this retrograde, but as always, listen to whichever ones bring you the most peace, clarity and grounding.

Wishing you a mindful Mercury RX!

Love,

Ambi x

Venus in Cancer: July 3 - 27 2019

Ambi Sitham

Venus in Cancer.png

Beautiful and harmonious Venus is moving into caring Cancer on July 3rd and will remain there until July 28th. In this article, I want to give you a little lesson in compatibility, and you’ll quickly understand why I’ve chosen THIS Venus transit to talk about it ;-)

When it comes to compatibility between two people and two birth charts, one trick to take is to first identify the Sun sign (obvi) and then look at your own chart and see if you have any personal planets in your partner’s Sun sign, and vice versa. So for an example, let’s say you’re a Cancer Sun and your partner is a Leo Sun. Look in your own chart to see if you have the Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars in Leo. And then look at your partner’s chart and see if they have one of those 4 celestial bodies in Cancer.

This is such a wonderful trick in compatibility because it lets you see where you have similarities. If your identity (Sun) is aligned with the way they feel and express love (Venus), it’s more of a natural fit as you already understand where they are coming from in love and will usually find it easier to satisfy those needs.

I bring compatibility up in THIS transit, because well, my partner is about to have his Venus return in Cancer and I will be having my Solar return in Cancer. And then a few days after, he will have his Solar return in Leo and I’ll have my Venus return in Leo. No wonder we LOVE Summer ;-)

With Venus in Cancer, especially while we still have the Sun in Cancer, it will be a couple of weeks full of romanticism and showing your love. Venus in Cancer wants nothing more than to be loved and show love, although it will be kept under wraps. Anything with Cancer has a hard exterior to it, so during this time, we will want to be loved harder and so will our partners, but none of us are going to notify the other that that’s what we want. And then when we aren’t receiving the love we’ve been craving, the claws will come out.

These lovely feelings we will be having won’t have rose-tinted glasses, though, as we will consider the longevity of these relationships first. This is one reason why Cancer goes too far too quickly in relationships because the long game is always on their mind. If Cancer has decided that this relationship has the potential for security, it will start acting as if that is already in existence.

Security is so important to Cancer that during this Venus transit, it is really important to make our mates feel safe, loved, and adored if we want to get in their bed. It’s such an interesting game we will all be playing because Venus in Cancer wants to be pursued, not the pursuer. But that’s kind of how we will all be feeling, so who’s actually going to do the pursuing?? Well, we all should pursue. And how beautiful this time will be if we are all showering each other with love so that the other can open up even more, creating even stronger bonds.

Obviously this all sounds pretty romantic but it doesn't have to just be romantic. This could be with coworkers, employees, bosses, friends, family members, or anything. Even setting aside “love” for these people, if you are still wanting to build meaningful relationships, showing them how you appreciate them will go far.

Below, find your Sun sign and your Rising sign to discover exactly where in life Venus in Cancer will be impacting you.

Aries - For this transit, Venus is activating your 4th house of home so get creative, throw a party, and/or call your mom! This is a great time to show your home some design love if you’ve been thinking about it lately. This would also be a wonderful time to spend time with family, especially if it hasn’t been a priority lately.

Taurus - Your communication and your mind will have some Venusian influence that may bring out your artistic side. You may find your social life ramp up a bit as Venus will give you an irresistible edge. Use this time to deliver beautiful and fair messages to those around you.

Gemini - With Venus in yous 2nd house of possessions, you might get a little creative with making your money and maybe even attract more money to you. This would also be a great time to focus on what you truly value for long term security when it comes to relationships and partnerships.

Cancer - Venus will be in your first house of self and identity, giving you a Venusian dose of attraction. It’s hard to resist someone when Venus is in their 1st house. You might feel extra flirty and affectionate. This is also a great time to get more creative. Watch out for your potential narcissistic tendencies during this time.

Leo - With Venus in your 12th house, you may feel a little more inclined to be private during this transit. This is a great time to get very creative and follow your creative urges. Look out for having secret love during this transit, though.

Virgo - Venus is in your 11th house giving you an enticing aura for lots of people to be around. Your social life may see an increase and might even find new opportunities through other people. There’s a chance that you have a close friend that you might start looking at romantically.

Libra - Your career will get a dose of Venusian energy this transit. This is very helpful in finding new opportunities or creating more balance and harmony in what you’re actually trying to achieve. This may also get you thinking about the long-term vision of your career.

Scorpio - Venus is in your 9th house of mental exploration and travel. This would be a good time to create a vision board of where you’d like to travel and to think about what your values really are in life, what’s your code of conduct, and what do you really believe in?

Sagittarius - Intense sexual opportunities with Venus in your 8th house. Watch out for looking for your worth via sex during this transit, though. With such an intense house being activated by such a harmonious planet, there’s a chance of not seeing things for what they really are here.

Capricorn - Venus is in your house of partnerships, bringing them to the forefront of your mind. Use this time to think about what you value about your partnerships. This would be a good time to get dreamy about the longevity of the relationship.

Aquarius - There’s an opportunity for laziness in your health routine with this transit, but there’s also an opportunity to get really creative with what you choose to do to move your body. This is also a great time at work, especially if there are fires to put out as you will often be the voice of reason.

Pisces - Venus is in your 5th house of romance and fun! Socializing will be at the forefront and a few suitors may even come your way. But remember, this is Cancer so although all the options seem enticing, use the Cancer energy to discern which ones, if any, truly deserve your energy.

Mars in Leo: July 1 - August 17 2019

Ambi Sitham

Mars in leo.png

On July 1st until August 17th, Mars will be in fiery sign, Leo. Mars is at home in Aries which tells us that Mars is quite comfortable being in other fire signs. It may not be home, but it certainly feels natural.

The sign of Leo is big, bold, expressive, stubborn, entertaining, grandiose, dramatic, loyal, focused, determined, luxurious, affectionate, self-concerned, and playful, to name a few characteristics. It is ruled by the Sun which is a main driver behind Leo being so individualistic and Leo often saying, “Hey, look at me!”.

We know what Mars is about. It’s the energy planet. It governs our energy, sex-drive, forcefulness, actions, and ambitions. So when we are trying to understand how this is going to impact us as a collective, let’s picture Mars as one of the characters we play in our lives, and then picture a Leo costume on that character. Here’s how that looks:

Energy and Action

We could have so much more energy to do the things that we want to do with Mars in Leo! Such a contrast to Cancer. Leo values action above talk. You may find yourself or the people around you physically doing more, and even getting almost angry at those who don’t do “as much as” other people. Our saving grace with this is the Cancer Sun that is a bit more understanding than Leo, but the Leo Mars is more energetic than the Cancer Sun so what you might find is actions being made that might seem brash or harsh, and then the Cancer energy comes in to smooth everything over.

Sex-Drive

Mars in Leo is a sexually charged transit. Leo can be very affectionate but what might be felt more here is that it’s very easy for Mars in Leo to win the affections of others. There’s a feeling of dramatization with sexual activities when Mars is in Leo. Almost as if the bedroom was a stage and you’re putting on a show for each other - not in the way of being “fake” but to really display how badly you want the other person. Which brings me to a big point when it comes to anything Leo: feeding the ego. This is especially important if you’re coupled. With Mars in Leo, it is important to use this placement to make your partner feel loved, appreciated, and wanted. If not, Mars in Leo very quickly turns to anger.

Ambition and Goals

Mars in Leo has BIG goals and it can make them happen too! Use this time to establish that big goal you have and use the energy to accomplish it or make big strides in your path. Because of the fixed Leo nature, once a goal is made, it’s almost like tunnel vision to get to that goal. This is definitely a benefit for us all after that Mars in Cancer transit that didn’t really push us too hard in our goals. One thing about Leo that will really help here is Leo’s creativity. Use it to help you form your plan in how to get to that goal!

As explained earlier, Mars is a character we play and Leo is the costume. Below is the scene in which this energy will primarily be present for you. Don’t forget to look at both your Sun and Rising signs.

Aries - More competition, bigger sex-drive, more impulsive behavior. Mars is in your 5th house which governs romance and fun. So definitely get out there and play some sports! You also could find yourself in more leadership situations during this transit. Run with them!

Taurus - The 4th house of home gets a lovely dose of energy! You might find yourself increasingly motivated to own a home or to find a more permanent living solution. You might also be inspired to entertain in your home. There is a bigger chance of arguments with your family, though.

Gemini - Mars is in your 3rd house of the mind, supercharging your mental activity! There’s some energetic brain power here so use it in the best way you see fit. Perhaps that’s solving problems at work or at home. This house also has short trips so be aware of your driving speed.

Cancer - With Mars in your 2nd house of money, there’s some good energy around making money! This would be a good time to establish a money goal, use Leo creativity to form a plan, and then go after that plan! Just watch out for impulsive spending and carelessness with money.

Leo - Mars is in your 1st house of self so this will definitely be helping you in drawing people to you. You may find yourself being even more assertive than usual and really stepping into your bravery. Just be cognizant that you aren’t being too domineering for the situation at hand.

Virgo - Mars is in your 12th house of spirituality. This is a good time to turn that energy inward and work on your healing journey. You might find that your intuition has a boost during this time. Use it to really learn how your intuition speaks to you so that you can use it going forward.

Libra - Mars is in your 11th house of community. This could get you feeling very inspired to do some humanitarian work or to fight for the human rights you believe in. This would be a great time for you to step into your leadership within the communities you’re already in.

Scorpio - Big things for your career for Mars in Leo. Mars is in your 10th house, inspiring you to merge career and passion, and to also get shit done! Use this transit to either get passionate about work again and use that fire to accomplish some things or use Mars to develop a plan to make your passion your career. (If you choose the latter, the key work is “plan”, not “impulsively do”.)

Sagittarius - So much energy in travel for this transit! Mars is in your 9th house of travel and mental exploration so you might find that you’re planning your next big trip (or taking one!). This is also a time to really get passionate about your beliefs, but just be aware of the argument potential with this planet.

Capricorn - This might be a great time to increase your astrology studies as Mars is in your 8th house of the occult and joint ventures. Mars is giving you energy in the form of research, digging deep, and even finding or providing healing. This is a very sexually charged placement, as well.

Aquarius - Mars is in your 7th house of partnerships which governs any one to one relationship. You might find you’re attracting more people to you or that you’re inspired to become an individual within the relationship. Arguments are typical with Mars in this house so just be aware of that.

Pisces - This is a really great time for work and health goals as Mars is in your 6th house of health and routine. For health, you may consider competition an option, maybe play a rec sport or join a health focused competition that work is hosting. Just be aware that arguments with coworkers could arise.

Solar Eclipse Cancer Soulstrology Scopes

Ambi Sitham

Soulstrology Scopes Cancer Solar Eclipse.png

Hello lovely ones and happy almost Cancer Solar Eclipse!

Your Soulstrology cosmic coaching questions are below, which include your ritual.

For your ease of access I have also included a few select Soulstrology Soundbaths for you to listen to which will help with the energies of this particular eclipse, but if you feel called to listen to others, just check the Soundbath section.

  1. Reviewing the natural zodiac Cancer themes of your private life, domestic matters, family and home life, write down any feelings that come to mind - ‘good’ or ‘bad’.

  2. Still focusing on the natural zodiac Cancer themes as outlined above, take note of what shifts have taken place in these areas of life over the last six months and what shifts you might like to take place over the next six months.

  3. Now review the Cancer ruled parts of life in your unique chart (using the Soulstrology zodiac guide to this eclipse which is included below for your ease) and just as in 1. above, write down any feelings that come to mind - ‘good’ or ‘bad’.

  4. Still focusing on Cancer ruled parts of life in your unique chart, take note of what shifts have taken place in these areas of life over the last six months and what shifts you might like to take place over the next six months.

  5. Looking at the responses to questions 1. and 3. above, write up a release list (yes, it is a Solar Eclipse, but this is an emotional reset, which means releasing!) and write down all the feelings you wish to let go, to transform, to heal. You can write this as a general release list or as a letter to your higher self/the Universe/Cosmos, whatever feels right/appropriate and good for you. Listen to a Soundbath (I recommend Chiron) and visualize that those low vibrational feelings are leaving your energy field and your mind/body/soul. Then burn the list (safely!) and visualize the same as you watch the list go up in flames, see the smoke as those low vibrational feelings leaving you and your energy field.

  6. On another piece of paper/page in your journal, draw up two columns. On the column on the left write down each feeling you have, whether ‘good’ or ‘bad’ in response to questions 1. and 3. Then in the column to the right, write down how you can work with that feeling. For example, if it is a ‘negative’ feeling of lack, fear, distrust, you can write, ‘I accept that this feeling of lack is telling me something about my self-esteem and my belief in universal abundance and I know that this is a guide for me to work on filling myself up - feeling good and full within myself and self-esteem and feeling as though the universe has unlimited abundance’ E.g if it is fear/distrust, you can write, ‘I accept that these feelings of fear and distrust are showing me how I need to work on my inner faith and trust, both faith and trust in myself and in the universe. I harness these feelings to do the work that little by little makes me trust myself and this process of life more’. If it is a positive feeling that you have in the left hand column, like for example, gratitude and excitement, then in the right hand column, you may write, ‘I am so grateful that through my own work and through co-creating with the universe, that I have these feelings of gratitude and excitement and I know this is a sign that I am both aligned and on track. I embrace these feelings and infuse them in all areas of my life, so I may continue to experience both gratitude and excitement across the board, and so these feelings act as fuel for the manifestation of more for me to be grateful and excited about! These are just examples but this is SUCH a powerful exercise for you all to conduct at this time.

  7. Reviewing your responses to questions 2. and 4. above, come up with a manifesting list for the next six months of shifts you wish to take place by the Cancer Full Moon/Eclipse at the start of 2020. I recommend making at least five big goals but no more than ten.

  8. Reviewing this list, listen to one of the Soundbaths below, I recommend both Jupiter and Earth and Pluto and Earth - both very helpful manifesting Soundbaths - and when listening really feel in your body what it would feel like for those items on your list to come to fruition. Really harness your imagination and intuition and be playful and creative. The idea is that you will be vibing very high by the end of this experience!

  9. Now take a cleansing and refreshing bath or shower, visualizing that the shower or bath water is washing away any last remnants of what you wish to release and that it is filling you up with the positive energy of those feelings you want more of, or those transformed feelings, and those manifestations!

  10. Read your Soulstrology Solar Eclipse mantras and keep them handy for the next two weeks as you check in on your manifesting list to remind yourself of what you want to achieve and perhaps engage in that Soulstrology Soundbath high vibration visualization! Then celebrate! You’ve engaged in a powerful ritual, your intentions have been set! Drink a glass of water, if you can infused with some type of rose water as it will connect you further to your heart center and chakra (or even just with clean rose quartz sat in it) and visualize this as the sealing of the ceremony and completion of you taking in that positive high vibrational manifesting energy!

CANCER SOLAR ECLIPSE MANTRAS

I trust that all my feelings serve a purpose in my life and with this in mind, I embrace all that I am feeling at this time

I believe that I have the power to harness my feelings, as both catalysts of change and the fuel for manifestation in my life

I know that when I dive deeper into my feelings and unpeel the layers, I have the power to both transform how I feel and to flourish

I trust that processing my feelings fully, is what will allow me to tap into my inner knowing and connect further to my higher self, meaning I am more intuitively guided and in flow with life

With this in mind, I embrace all that I feel, knowing it serves a purpose in my process

I savor the work of this Solar Eclipse ritual having faith in how it will serve my mind, body, soul and help me to flourish

Solar Eclipse in Cancer July 2019: Feeling your way into a fulfilling future

Ambi Sitham

Cancer Solar Eclipse.png

Hello lovely ones and happy almost New Moon/Solar eclipse in Cancer!

First off I am sure you are all aware that there is so much happening in the cosmos as we welcome July and eclipse season and I understand that it can be quite overwhelming, both energetically and information wise, in terms of the amount of blogs and content we are providing via Soulstrology.

Please know that true cosmic consciousness is doing what serves you at this unique time.

If that means devouring all the content and checking all your chart - great.

If that means just reading about one transit which resonates most deeply with you and working with that particular theme - great.

If you don’t do the ‘homework’ on the day itself, that is great too!

There is no right or wrong, just working with the energies and information available as suits you, so at the outset of diving deep into this solar eclipse, I wanted to remind you all to use your Membership to truly serve you and to understand that your Soulstrology work may at times ebb and flow with your needs, which is all good!

Onward now to this total solar eclipse in Cancer…

This eclipse falls at 10 degrees of Cancer and takes place at 12.16 PT on Tuesday July 2.

As always, please check your chart using the Soulstrology zodiac guide below to see where Cancer rules in your chart as it is these life areas which are coming into the cosmic spotlight at this time and which you have the opportunity for a total reset/fresh start on.

As always, check any planets you may have in Cancer and particularly those between 7-13 degrees of Cancer as they will get triggered by this eclipse.

And if you are able to do this, you should be able to tell exactly where 10 degrees of Cancer is falling in your unique chart - which house and life areas, but if this is confusing, simply read the Soulstrology zodiac guide below which will direct you and make the process easier on you and your ability to work with these energies.

If you are a Cancer Sun sign or Cancer rising, this eclipse will be particularly powerful for you as your entire identity is going through a cosmic reset as it is being triggered by the eclipses.

This has been happening since the beginning of the Cancer/Capricorn set of eclipses which started with the solar eclipse in Cancer last July 12 and will continue through 2020 with the final Cancer solar eclipse for this zodiac set taking place next July.

Huge life changes will be taking place for you and will bring a new chapter of life for you to embrace which you will feel the effects of for the next decade!

But regardless of our zodiac sign, each of us will be experiencing (and feeling!) these eclipse energies somewhere in our charts and will also be going through big shifts every six months for the next eighteen months of this set of eclipses as they activate our charts and serve as portals to a new chapter of life.

In the natural zodiac Cancer rules the fourth house of our home, family and domestic life.

Our private lives/our inner selves, our emotions and who, what and where we consider home and ‘family’.

Cancer themes include motherhood, nurturing, security, our emotional needs and nature as well as the ebbs and flows of life.

Regardless of our zodiac sign, these themes have been activated in our lives since last Summer and the first in the set of the Cancer/Capricorn eclipses and will continue to be a theme we need to work on through 2020.

Eclipses activate the lunar nodes which aren’t planets, but powerful energy points in the cosmos.

You will hopefully have read Soulstrology contributor Jordan Shomer’s fabulous nodes post which will help you understand what the nodes represent both in our natal charts and in transit, but as a reminder, the North Node represents what we are supposed to be striving towards, what is perhaps outside of our comfort zone, but what is also the necessary ‘path’ for us to fulfill our destiny.

The South Node represents our comfort zone, what comes easily to us, what we are used to/good at but what can also be our default comfort position which can mean it becomes a rut.

In the case of the Cancer/Capricorn set of eclipses the North Node is found in Cancer, meaning that as a collective we are being pushed towards dealing with, owning and integrating the natural zodiac Cancer themes as well as identifying the life areas in our unique chart and understanding how these themes may play out in specific life areas and we need to do in order to ‘reach’ for them and fulfill our destiny.

It is not that we are to ignore the Capricorn South Node themes (which we will discuss briefly in this post but dive into deeper nearer to the Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn later this month) but rather that we are to understand that we can live out those themes in our lives, while also reaching for the Cancer themes and it is that integration and ‘reach’ and ‘pushing’ ourselves our of our comfort zone which will have us ultimately fulfilling our destiny.

Cancer season brings with it all the feels, as one would expect for the deeply emotional water sign.

This one is exacerbated by the total Solar eclipse - which creates a ‘void’ and emptiness of sorts - and the forthcoming Mercury retrograde which partially takes place in Cancer.

This leads me nicely onto the Soulstrology theme for this Cancer Solar eclipse.

The cosmos is offering us the opportunity for a total emotional reset so we can feel our way into manifesting a future in which we flourish.

It’s such a powerful time for each of us and we can truly harness this cosmic window to reset ourselves and plant the seeds of change which will flower over the next six months, helping us move into a new chapter which fulfills our destiny.

But we need to engage in an emotional reset and tune into our intuitive feelings to find our way…

Cancer is a deeply intuitive sign, one who often harnesses the power of their emotions and utilizes it as an intuitive guide for their lives.

But sometimes Cancer can be washed away by their feelings. They feel almost too much and can drown in their feelings.

When they get this overwhelmed they crawl back into their shell and withdraw from the world.

I am sure the same can be said for most of us.

There are times when we are emotionally all over the place and perhaps find ourselves floundering in life as a result and perhaps we withdraw, or check out in some way.

When we are drowning in our feelings in this way it means we cannot truly tap into the inner knowing of our higher selves as an intuitive guide which ultimately serves our highest good.

Soulstrology tells us that the solution is not to ignore our feelings, but rather to dive deep into them, to flesh out what is really happening on an emotional level and to reset ourselves somewhat so that we can truly tap into our intuitive senses and use these to feel our way into a future in which we can flourish.

This requires a combination of both emotional/energetic, heart centered work and practical/more logical head focused work.

This is something we will be exploring in our Soulstrology Scopes and cosmic coaching, so stay tuned.

But for now, let’s explore the aspects at play at this Solar Eclipse and how this can play out for us, regardless of our zodiac sign.

The luminaries (the Sun and Moon) do not make any major aspects to other planets at the Solar Eclipse and this adds to the Soulstrology theme of a total reset.

It’s as though the cosmos is really asking us to look at the Cancer themes/those areas of our life highlighted by the eclipse and explore how best we can reset ourselves, emotionally, energetically and on the physical plane.

However, there are other planetary aspects occurring at this time which we should take into account.

There is the ongoing Saturn/South node conjunction opposing the North Node.

This means that any difficulty we are experiencing in reaching towards that Cancer North Node and all those themes we discussed earlier, is very karmic (thanks to Saturn) but something we need to take the time to patiently and logically work through (again, Saturn).

This ‘work’ may take place in stages, so you can do your best at this time to work with the eclipse energies but know that you may need to do this in stages, harnessing the power of this eclipse to make shifts which take you through to the next set of eclipses in six months time where you once again have the opportunity to make further shifts.

Another Saturn aspect which is somewhat of a recurring theme of 2019 and amplifies the work we need to do as outlined by the Saturn/nodes aspects above, is that of Saturn sextile Neptune.

This is a harmonious aspect between Saturn in Capricorn making a positive connection to Neptune in Pisces meaning we can work with both these rather different energies in the best possible way.

Again, it reiterates themes of this particular Solar Eclipse and the Soulstrology theme, and the work outlined above, in that it is about finding the balance between our heads (Saturn) and our hearts (Neptune).

It is about honoring our emotional depth (Pisces) while also honoring logic and facts (Capricorn).

How this plays out with regards to this specific Cancer Solar Eclipse is that we need to honor all that we feel, while also working through it in a practical way, therefore not falling foul of the shadow of Cancer and drowning in our emotions, but rather harnessing those emotions - whatever they may be - as catalysts for the work we need to do.

There is so much potential at this time for us to honor our true feelings, to emotionally reset, and for us to harness our all important inner knowing as a guide to help us move towards our future and to ultimately fulfill our destiny.

But this requires us to go deep and to do the work to make sure we are not seeking and striving for certain career success or status (Capricorn South Node) to make up for what we are lacking emotionally and/or in our domestic, private lives.

Success, achievement and status are all wonderful things and can give us emotional satisfaction but we need to be honest with ourselves about where we are chasing certain things at the cost of true emotional contentment within ourselves and our private, domestic lives.

It is possible for us to have both, but we need to understand that as a collective we are being asked to value our emotional well-being, our home/family/domestic life (whatever that may look like) and to understand that taking responsibility for this part of our lives, healing and transforming it and integrating it into the rest of our lives, is ‘success’ and from that strong foundation of emotional well being in your private life, you can reach even further heights publicly, in your professional pursuits and life.

There is success to be experienced and enjoyed across the board, both personally and professionally, but we need to take the time for these emotional check ins, and be prepared to work through our emotions so we can reset ourselves allowing us to trust our intuitive feelings more, and using them as a guide.

We need to know that our inner reality and true state of being (Cancer) is in many ways of more importance than our outer status/success (Capricorn) but the two are not mutually exclusive, we just need to tend to our emotions and our private lives, in order for us to thrive personally and professionally and to step into the destiny which awaits us.

It may well be an emotional and perhaps unsettling time for many, but it is also a time of great opportunity, for healing, transformation and manifesting.

Your cosmic coaching will help you work with the energies of this Solar Eclipse in a very practical way, but for now, check out the life areas being highlighted by the eclipse in your chart and start tuning into what it is that is coming up from you emotionally.

Remember, there is no good or bad, just what is.

Whatever that is, is what we need to and can work with, for our highest good and the greater good, as a tool of alchemy to help you transition into a new chapter and start stepping into your destiny.

More coming soon in your Soulstrology Scopes (a separate post which will be live soon) but for now, check out the Soulstrology zodiac guide below and see where this eclipse is taking place in your unique chart.

July 2019: Choices, chances, changes......

Ambi Sitham

JULY COSMIC UPDATE.png

Hello lovely ones and happy almost July…

As you will see from July’s cosmic diary below, we have an action packed month in the cosmos.

Between the eclipses, Mercury retrograde and cosmic lovers Mars and Venus changing zodiac signs at the start of the month, there is a lot happening in the skies above.

And as above, so below….

So it is safe to say we will all be experiencing shifts in our lives this month.

As a reminder, eclipses act as super charged New or Full Moons.

They activate certain houses in our charts, and act as catalysts for transformation of certain life areas.

In this sense, eclipse months are as portals for change which feel like a wormhole of sorts.

They have the ability to thrust us forwards into the future we desire, or one which we are destined for.

But they don’t always do so with ease, or grace.

I often talk about feeling as though you’ve been ‘eclipsed’ at certain times.

And what I usually mean by this is that the eclipses trigger sudden changes, some of which are positive - think of happy ‘breakthroughs’, but some of which can feel unwelcome.

We can feel as though the rug has been pulled out from underneath us and/or blindsided in some way and this can be very upsetting in the moment, indeed in some cases, causing a ‘breakdown’.

Ultimately eclipses serve us, but we may only be able to see that the changes were for our highest good, with the filter of hindsight.

Therefore it may take us sometime both to fully process events and for life to show us why something needed to happen and how it was ultimately for our highest good.

Eclipses invariably bring endings for new beginnings.

And as one door closes (or slams shut in some cases) another door opens, and in that way, eclipses are a doorway to a new chapter in our lives.

With an intense Mercury retrograde taking place during eclipse season, it is safe to say that this eclipse season will be more intense than most.

I will be sharing more insights and downloads on this in due course (as you will see from the cosmic diary, there are plenty of Soulstrology Member posts this month!) so you can best navigate the month ahead.

Soulstrology tells us that regardless of what happens this month, July 2019 is a month of choices, chances and changes.

But it is up to us to decide what choices we make and therefore how we choose to respond to both chances and changes, whether ‘good’ or ‘bad’.

And it is those choices which will determine the ultimate outcome of those chances and changes.

Remember that the essence of Soulstrology is cosmic consciousness and that we are co-creating with the cosmos.

The stars impel but do not compel.

Ultimately it is up to each of us to educate ourselves, to be aware of the energies at play, to choose to work with them to the best of our ability, and to some degree to surrender to the process of life and navigate it as gracefully as we possibly can.

That is the seed of consciousness we are asked to plant as we bid June farewell and embrace July 2019 for what it is.

Mantra of the Month

I embrace this month for what it is, and whatever it may bring

I trust that ultimately there is no ‘good’ or ‘bad’, there is just life, and that whatever takes place this month, is a necessary part of my life process.

I open my eyes, mind and heart to the chances and changes which may come my way and know that I have a choice in how I respond to them

I know that I am a powerful co-creator with the cosmos and that both my choices and my consciousness will ultimately determine the future

With this in mind, I approach this month both confident and courageous, knowing I have everything within, to make the best of this month’s energies, whatever they may be

May your choices reflect your highest selves and may you flow with the tides of change which take you to sweet shores…

I am wishing you all a powerful month ahead!

Love,

Ambi x

Note on the Nodes copy.png

Hello lovely ones,

Today we have a guest post by the fabulous Jordan Shomer, a fellow cosmic seeker and Soulstrology superstar.

In line with eclipse season (which is essentially about the moon’s nodes and the themes they reflect) Jordan is contributing two articles to our community on the lunar nodes.

I hope you enjoy her cosmic pearls of wisdom!

Check Jordan out on Instagram and drop her a line to say hi on jordan.shomer@gmail.com

NOTE ON THE NODES BY JORDAN SHOMER

I’m sure you’ve heard that we are entering into ever ominous eclipse season. But like, what does that even mean?! Well, the eclipses are lunar events occurring on the moon’s nodal axis and act as a giant kick in the pants prompting us to take action around the themes ruled by the signs the eclipses fall in. Meaning we can’t enter eclipse season without talking about the Moon’s Nodes.

The Nodes are mathematical points that fall into opposing signs in your chart. We look to our nodes to understand our destiny or soul’s purpose. The sign and house your South Node falls into allows you a peek into you past life. The energy of your South Node is your cosmic comfort zone, a set of skills and challenges you brought with you into this life from past lifetimes. The sign and house your North Node falls in indicates what you soul is longing to evolve towards, it is your destiny to learn and implement the lessons of your North Node. Because these points sit opposite each other in the sky, the work that needs to be done in order to take strides towards your North Node is typically difficult or uncomfortable or scary or any combination of these things. Using the skills of your South Node to move toward your North Node is ideal, but that’s easier said than done. Our South Node also holds many of our longest standing habits, patterns, limiting beliefs that must be brought into awareness before we are really able to unpack where the work is.

Sure, you can spend your whole life living in your South Node, in your comfort zone, doing the things that come easily to you, and be fine. But how do you feel about being stuck in “fine” for this life of yours? We have souls longing to evolve past our cosmic circumstances. Meaning even though you may be perfectly fine in that South Node, feelings of being stuck or wanting to BUST OUT may arise. That’s because your soul has so much more in store for you.

To find your North Nodes, populate your birth chart and look for the symbol that looks like this . Most charts only show your North Node. Your South Node will sit in the exact degree of the opposite sign of North Node. For example, if you North Node is at 10° of Gemini, that means your South Node will be at 10° of Sagittarius.

During this upcoming eclipse season, we are working with the themes of the Cancer-Capricorn axis. With the South Node sitting in Capricorn, we may feel compelled to seek external answers to questions surrounding ideas of, what am I supposed to be doing? What is expected of me? What are my responsibilities? Capricorn is serious about seeking status and validation out in the world. While the North Node in tender Cancer asking us to sit with questions like, who are you truly responsible to? How can we be responsible for nurturing ourselves and those around us? Cancer challenges us to tend to our internal landscape with the same determination and fervor we pour into our work and career. If you have been considering re-evaluating your work-life balance, this is the time to do so. Relinquishing control and surrendering to what comes when we step into the fullest, most cared for, version of ourselves. Self-care is our superpower during this season, so dive in. Beyond the face masks and lazy Sundays, how can you show up for yourself in a compassionate and vulnerable way; physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally?

Summer Solstice 2019, Mercury retrograde shadow, Neptune Retrograde and *new* Soulstrology Soundbath with Pluto and Jupiter

Ambi Sitham

Summer 2019.png

Hello lovely ones and happy Summer Solstice/Neptune turns retrograde/Mercury pre-retrograde shadow!

Whew. So much going on in the cosmos and we are hot off the heels of that Sagittarius Full Moon, which I don’t think I need to tell you, was rather intense!

With this in mind and knowing the transformative energies ahead with eclipse season around the corner, I recorded a new Soulstrology Soundbath with the sounds and vibrations of Jupiter and Pluto, to help you work with both Jupiter retrograde, Pluto retrograde and the changing seasons and shifts from the eclipses.

In this recording I will be guiding and directing you as to how you can make the most out of the Soundbath before you settle in to the sounds and vibrations of Jupiter, Pluto and several crystal chakra bowls and chimes.

It is at the bottom of this post and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed recording it for you :)

Onward to all the other cosmic events occurring within a 24 hour period on a very energetically charged day, off the back of a very powerful Full Moon…

Mercury’s pre-retrograde shadow begins just hours before this Friday’s Summer Solstice at 24 degrees of Cancer. What is interesting about the degrees of the shadows is how much they relate to the entire retrograde. Because Mercury will end his retrograde on July 31 at 24 degrees Cancer. This shows us the cosmic link between the start of the shadow period and the end of the retrograde and explains why the pre (and post) retrograde shadow (s) are so important.

I will be writing a detailed separate post on this forthcoming Mercury retrograde but for now, look at your chart to see where you may have 24 degrees of Cancer through to 4 degrees of Leo because it is within these degrees and zodiac signs that the forthcoming Mercury retrograde in Leo and Cancer will be taking place.

Also notice what may come up at this time.

With the Summer Solstice (for those of us in the Northern hemisphere) there is a surge of ‘light’ and energy which may illuminate, by way of little synchronicities, what the forthcoming Mercury retrograde represents for us individually.

Don’t overthink it, just be aware and mindful of things that pop up and/or synchronicities which take place.

As well as Mercury’s shadow beginning this day, we also have Neptune turning retrograde at the Summer Solstice for his annual backwards dance.

His retrograde takes place between 18 and 15 degrees of Pisces and will last for a five month period, ending November 27 2019.

During his retrograde we will be able to revisit these particular degrees of Pisces in our unique charts and feel Neptune’s energies infusing these life areas.

In most cases this will be the removal of the veil of Neptunian delusion (the shadow of Neptune) giving us clarity and insights as to how we can achieve the light of Neptune in these life areas - namely, spirituality, expansiveness, creativity and compassion.

It is important to note if you any planets and house cusps at these degrees of Pisces as if you do then you will feel the retrograde more than others.

Also, Pisces and Pisces risings will also generally feel the retrograde more than the rest of us, as Neptune is your ruler.

Given Jupiter’s recent square with Neptune at the Sagittarius Full Moon which probably gave us all a much needed reality check, and given that this square will be exact once again just days before the Fall Equinox in September when the God of the ocean is still in backward motion, it is fair to say that 2019’s Neptune retrograde represents reality checks in our lives and asks us to get real and see things - ourselves and situations for what they are and to have the hope, faith and spirituality of both Neptune and Jupiter, but back it up with some structure and boundaries…

The Summer Solstice itself represents the official start of the Summer, the longest day of the year, with the maximum physical light and astrologically marks the beginning of Cancer season.

As the midway point of any year, it signifies a turning point, not only because of the shift in seasons, both in nature and astrologically, but also because it reminds us that any year can be one of two halves.

In this case, 2019’s Summer Solstice also acts as a warm up for eclipse season, as we will experience the second set of 2019 eclipses starting just ten or so days later with a powerful solar eclipse in Cancer.

Soulstrology tells us that 2019’s Summer Solstice represents the energy and light we want to infuse in the rest of our 2019 experience.

We would all have had certain experiences in 2019 so far. Some ‘good’, some ‘bad’, some we may feel indifferent about. In some cases the scales will tilt further to one side of being ‘good’ or ‘bad’, or maybe even flat lining somewhat in indifference - a meh kind of, ‘it’s not that bad, but it’s not that great’ type of feeling.

Whatever you feel your 2019 has been so far, now is the time to plant the seeds within your consciousness and the physical plane, of what you want the remainder of your 2019 to be.

What words or phrase or images come to mind when you think about what you want from the rest of this year?

You can engage in a simple ritual at the Summer Solstice to connect to the new season, to mother earth and to the powerful cosmic energies at play.

I suggest a walking meditation in nature, giving thanks for all you’ve experienced so far in 2019 - the blessings, the challenges, the lessons.

You can listen to the Soulstrology Soundbath at the same time and/or listen to it afterwards.

Then think about the new season which lies ahead, which for most of us is Summer.

What do you envision yourself doing? Being? Feeling?

What words and images come to mind?

And what do they tell you about what you want from both this next season and the remainder of 2019?

My words/phrase for 2019 were ‘abundant, joyful flow’ and 2019 has certainly been that, but it’s also been VERY busy and as I envision the Summer (which also happens to be the last trimester of my pregnancy) and the rest of the year, I see a slower pace, more ease, doing less and being more.

I will be completing my ritual along with you and I will come up with my words/phrase and set my intention for 2019, but I wanted to share the above with you in case it helps you to think more deeply about the remainder of your 2019.

After your walking meditation and some time in nature, I encourage you to connect to the healing waters of Cancer season with a water ritual. For some this may be as simple as drinking a glass of water that you visualize as holding the energies of what you want the remainder of your 2019 to be.

For others this may involve a shower meditation where you visualize the water washing you clear of the first half of the year, keeping only the good and releasing the ‘bad’.

For bath lovers like me, this may be a great opportunity for a salt bath soak, a time to let your muscles unwind, as you allow the healing salt waters to cleanse you physically and energetically.

As always, your ritual is one you can customize so you feel it serves you best, but the above is a guideline for those seeking a little direction.

Happy Summer Solstice 2019!

May the light shine bright in each of our lives, guiding us to our next chapter and season of life.

And so it is.

Love,

Ambi x

Sagittarius Full Moon.png

Hello lovely ones and happy almost ‘galactic center activation’ Full Moon….

Below are your cosmic coaching questions for this Sagittarius Full Moon cycle.

The Soulstrology zodiac guide at the bottom of this post will remind you of where this Full Moon falls in your unique chart, based on your Sun and/or Rising sign.

  1. Reviewing the Sagittarius ruled parts of life in your chart, take note of the ‘good’ that has occurred in the last six months - what has healed, what has improved, what have you achieved, what can you celebrate? Make a list (and you can include general life areas in this list too) This is your Full Moon gratitude list.

  2. Now take note of what else needs healing, improving, or releasing in these life areas. Do you have any fears in these areas of life? Do you have recurring negative beliefs about these life areas? Make a list (and you can include general life areas in this list too). This is your Full Moon release list.

  3. Once again, focusing on these life areas, check in and ask yourself, on a scale of 1-10 how optimistic and hopeful (think a la Jupiter) do you feel about these life areas? On a scale of 1-10 how pragmatic/practical/realistic are you being about these life areas? (think a la Saturn). Once you have these lists, ask yourself, how you can improve your scoring, even a point or so, to be both more optimistic and more practical? Take notes/make action points. This is your Full Moon ‘to do’ list.

  4. Light some sage, or a candle and listen to the Pluto Mercury Soundbath (at bottom of this post). Once you are done, allow yourself to automatically write in your journal, or a piece of paper. Just allow what comes out, to come out. If nothing flows automatically, then revert to questions 1,2 and 3 and see if any further insights come your way, and if so, jot them down.

  5. Burn your Full Moon release list first, and as you watch the words on your list go up in flames, imagine that what you wish to release, is being released, what you wish to heal or improve, is being healed or improved, what you fear is being dissolved, just as the flames turn the paper and words into ashes, the negative thoughts and feelings are leaving your mind and energetic being.

  6. Drink a glass of water, rehydrate, take a few deep cleansing breaths in and out and light some palo santo or incense (if you have neither, then a scented candle will do), take a salt bath or shower and visualize the water cleansing you both physically and energetically and then listen to the Jupiter Earth Soundbath (at bottom of this post).

  7. Once you have finished, burn your Full Moon gratitude list and as you see the flames and ashes from your list go upwards, imagine that they reflect your optimism and hope for both the Sagittarius ruled parts of your chart/life and life in general.

  8. Once you have finished, go back to your ‘to do’ list - the answers to number 3 above and read through your action points for the Sag ruled parts of your life and how you are going to infuse these areas of life with both optimism, backed by practical action.

  9. Repeat and/or write down the Full Moon Mantras and keep these in your mind as you complete your ritual.

  10. Celebrate! You’ve just carried out a powerful ritual which should help you connect further to yourself, the areas of life highlighted at this powerful Sagittarius Full Moon and the ongoing Jupiter in Sagittarius transit.

SAGITTARIUS FULL MOON MANTRAS

I am open to whatever the lunar spotlight illuminates for me, knowing that in truth, whether it is ‘good’ or ‘bad’, it is part of my process

I embrace all of my feelings at this time, including any frustrations, fears and doubts

I do this trusting that any ‘negative’ feelings serve a powerful purpose in my life showing me what I may need to heal and release, in order to receive

I connect to my inner faith and optimist and choose to see the glass as half full and to believe that there is always a positive step to be taken forwards to a brighter future

With this in mind, I take comfort and pride in my rituals at this time, knowing they are helping me work with the cosmic energies and that my job at this time is to do the work and trust that the cosmos will respond to my efforts

I trust in myself and my abilities and I have faith in the process of life and in a universe who may work in mysterious ways but is ultimately benefic to me and my life

I know my faith will be rewarded in divine timing with the manifestation of the fruits of my desires

And so it is

Ambi x

Full Moon in Sagittarius June 2019: Faith, fear, feelings and facts...

Ambi Sitham

Full Moon Sag.png

Hello lovely ones and happy almost Full Moon!

Whew, I don’t know about you, but I am FEELING all those Full Moon feels…this may have something to do with my Sagittarius Sun sign, but I suspect that is in fact more to do with all that is going on in the cosmos…

We have a powerful Full Moon on Monday June 17, Mercury’s pre-retrograde shadow starts on June 20 and on June 21 we have the powerful combo of Neptune turning retrograde and the Summer Solstice.

And of course let us not forget that eclipse season is around the corner with a powerful total solar eclipse on July 2 and a partial lunar eclipse on July 16.

Oh, with Mercury turning retrograde in between eclipses….

Feeling all those feels?! It’s normal.

It’s going to be an intense six weeks ahead.

And I will be sharing more on how to best manage this in the July cosmic update as well as the Solstice, eclipse season and Mercury retrograde posts.

But for now, let us focus on this Sagittarius Full Moon and how best each of us can work with the somewhat intense, and conflicting, energies.

This Full Moon falls at 25 degrees of Sagittarius and takes place at 1.30am PT on Monday June 17 2019 (adjust for your timezone to know the exact time of the Full Moon for you).

You can use the Soulstrology zodiac guide below to see where this Full Moon is falling in your unique chart.

Just read for your Sun and Rising sign and those are the life areas ruled by Sagittarius in your chart.

As always, if you are more familiar with your chart, you can look at the exact degree of this Full Moon and where it may be falling in your chart and/or any planets you may have between 22 - 27 of Sagittarius as these will be activated by this Full Moon.

What this means is the themes of those planets/traits will be brought to the surface in the lunar illumination, adding to the intensity of this Full Moon, so do take note of them.

What makes this Sagittarius Full Moon all the more intense is the fact that the Full Moon falls conjunct (just one degree away!) from the galactic center!

The galactic center is the center of our milky way galaxy and is considered to be a very powerful energy portal as the source of the most gravitational energy.

When it was discovered it was found it fell at 26 degrees of Sagittarius (although now has shifted to 27 degrees or thereabouts).

If you have anything at, or around this degree in your natal chart, you have a very specific mission and purpose in this lifetime, one centered around being a source of wisdom, information, hope and inspiration for others and channeling for others in some way.

But either way, for any of us, we will have the galactic center degrees of Sagittarius falling somewhere and by understanding where this is, and how this is aspected to other planets in our chart, we can understand ourselves, our soul’s purpose and our lives so much better.

The galactic center is the source of the most gravitational energy in the cosmos and in our charts, is the source of deep knowledge, inspiration and power.

We will explore the Galactic center further in the future, but for now, for the purposes of this Full Moon, all we need to know is that this is an EXTRA potent Full Moon, one that is literally connected to the center of our milky way galaxy, a hugely powerful energy portal, making this Full Moon a very powerful mid year cosmic window of opportunity.

But turning now to the title of this post and the Soulstrology theme of ‘Faith, fear, feelings and facts…’ and how this plays into this powerful Full Moon conjunct the galactic center.

You all probably know the traits of Sagittarius by now and like every sign, it has its light and shadow.

Faith is one of the most recognizable and positive traits of Sagittarius, but this faith can be sometimes dogmatic and obsessive, a preacher, rather than a true teacher.

Nonetheless, with Jupiter in Sagittarius this year, Soulstrology has already told us (for those of you who’ve been Members for a while you may remember this from the Jupiter in Sagittarius post last year) that one of the ways in which we will best engage the light and tap into all the blessings of Jupiter in Sagittarius, is through adopting the Sagittarius trait of faith.

Faith is therefore a theme of this Full Moon, with the lunar spotlight shining brightly on our faith, checking in and our belief systems, and whether we truly have faith in ourselves, others, our lives and indeed the cosmos.

The day before the Full Moon, Jupiter in Sagittarius makes a square aspect to Neptune in Pisces.

This aspect is tense and bring things up in the lunar spotlight, namely showing us where perhaps we have been too trusting, too full of faith, without seeing reality/facts (shadow of Neptune/Pisces is deception, being overly rose tinted and naive) and/or in someway testing our faith.

This rather tense aspect is leveled out somewhat by the another powerful aspect which is Saturn in Capricorn sextiling Neptune in Pisces.

This is a very grounding aspect which is exact the day after the Full Moon, but we can tap into on the Full Moon itself to find that balance between reality/facts (Saturn in sensible Capricorn) and our dreams (Neptune in Pisces) and to understand that faith backed by the substance of action, hard work and foraging through facts, can help us to achieve our dreams through our unique spiritual practices.

However, Mercury and Mars conjunct each other in sensitive Cancer and right by the fated North Node, also in Cancer, can mean that our feelings and our fears bubble up rather forcefully to the surface at this Full Moon.

There is purpose to this process and any pain we may feel.

The North node is about what is outside our comfort zone and what we need to reach for and step into, in order to fulfill our destiny.

In Cancer this includes our feelings and emotions and both owning them and understanding their purpose in our lives to help us to heal, transform and ultimately receive.

Both Mercury and Mars oppose stern Saturn in Capricorn meaning we may feel deluged by our emotions - our thoughts and feelings (Mercury/Mars in Cancer) and may have to face certain reality checks (Saturn in Capricorn) in the lunar spotlight (Full Moon) which makes us fearful and indeed questioning both facts and our faith!

‘Urgh’ you may be thinking! This doesn’t sound very fun. It fact, it sounds rather full on

But I invite you to think about this differently, in light of all else happening in the cosmos and the fact that this powerful Full Moon is activating the galactic center - the source of so much energy and power, in our lives and the world at large.

Life isn’t supposed to be an easy glide from success to success, achievement to achievement, miracle to miracle, to have it all, be it all, do it all, all the time (this kind of way of trying to operate is some of the shadow of Sagittarius of living it too large).

Rather, life is a series of ups and downs, trials and rewards, breakdowns and breakthroughs.

We are supposed to traverse all of this journey called life and embrace it all for what it is, knowing the highs will be followed by lows, that rock bottom will be followed by being propelled back upwards, that our faith will get tested time and time again, that fear will raise its head, that feelings you thought you had dealt with, or didn’t realize you had, will spring forth.

It is traversing this journey, feeling all the feels, falling, failing, losing our faith, sorting what is fact from fiction, that will allow us to flourish.

It is a cycle we will repeat over and over again until we depart this earth plane.

And it is going through this process, embracing this cycle, which will allow us to find ourselves, our faith in ourselves, others and life, and ultimately to flourish once again.

It is this process which allows us to connect to the galactic center and to our center - our soul, our unique journey.

We must not fear it, or avoid it, we must face it and flow (and sometimes get whirred up in a frenzy!) through it.

This Sagittarius Full Moon is so powerful on so many counts.

It comes at a very significant time in the year, as we are each on the cusp of a new chapter and season.

But we must understand the themes at play and embrace them, within both our consciousness and on the physical plane as they perhaps bring us challenges leading up to and at this Full Moon.

Your Soulstrology Scopes, which are coming soon, will help you to work with the Full Moon on a much more practical level, but for now, let the contents of this post digest within your consciousness and review the life areas ruled by Sagittarius in your unique chart and/or triggered by this Full Moon and allow your soul to connect to the powerful energies at play.

Love,

Ambi x

Venus in Gemini: June 9 - July 3 2019

Ambi Sitham

Venus in Gemini.png

Hello and happy Sunday!

Today, Venus moves out of Taurus and into the Gemini ruled part of the zodiac where she will be infusing her energies for the next few weeks.

Lexie Rollet of Alexandria Astrology is back with her insights on this transit for us.

We hope you enjoy and it helps you work with this transit!

Love,

Ambi and Lexie xo

On June 9th, Venus will officially be in Gemini and it will remain there until July 3rd. And let me just start by saying, Venus in Gemini has some exuberating differences from Venus in Taurus!

Venus in Taurus is very much in the body, it’s tactile, it’s physical. Venus in Gemini is all in the mind! There’s a pretty good chance that we will all need to be intellectually enamored before we hop into anyone’s bed during this transit. If you’re single and mingling, this is like a built in test gifted to you by the Universe - start with some intellectually stimulating conversations about anything and everything and if the other person can’t keep up or bores you out of your mind, it’s a no-go!

Gemini as a sign is known to lose interest pretty quickly so you might find that if you are not mentally stimulated by someone or something, you might be motivated to move on. If it’s a THING, screw it! Move on! Gemini season, especially coupled with Venus in Gemini, is all about following your interests unapologetically. But if it’s a PERSON? First, consider that the energy surrounding us right now is encouraging us to move from interest to interest. Second, consider the history of the relationship with that person. Basically what I’m saying is don’t make a hasty decision on someone who’s been in your life through thick and thin!

Venus definitely has a say in our money, so in terms of Venus in Gemini...well we could be making some hasty decisions with our spending, too. Gemini is a little careless with money, so just be aware of your spending habits during this time. This is a notorious time for people to get a wild hair that they’re SUPER interested in a new hobby and then buy everything “needed” for that hobby. For this example, let’s take photography. You might decide that since you’re SOOO INTO photography because you’ve taken like, 10 really great photos on iPhone Portrait mode, that it’s time to invest in ALL the photography gear!!

Probably not a good idea. If you are thinking about investing some cash into something, please for the love of all that is beautiful in this world, consider the PREVIOUS longevity of this thought. This is to say, don’t think about the future longevity of this investment, because that’s how you’re going to rationalize making the purchase. Nope, you’ve got to think about how long you’ve been dreaming of making this purchase, or investing in this hobby, or eyeing those killer shoes. If the amount of time is a reasonable match for said investment (i.e. a whole year of time and effort invested into a hobby or daydreaming about those shoes for two months) and you actually have the money to spend on this AND pay your bills, then it’s fair game.

All in all, Venus in Gemini is really about having fun, following your interests, having strong mental connections with people, and connecting with your friends. If you’re doing that, you’re living this transit up to its highest good!

Here are a few things for each of the signs to focus on during this transit.

Remember, read for both your Sun and Rising signs:

ARIES - People might be even more drawn to your ideas this month as Venus is giving you the power of appeal in the your house of communication. Being social and exploring thoughts with other people is a good thing for you that might even bring new opportunities.

TAURUS - Remember everything that above about money? That especially applies to you as Venus is in your money house this month. It is key for you to find the balance: this is a great time to allow those interests to make you money, but don’t go overboard on spending.

GEMINI - Venus is in your first house this month, making you more charming than ever! Many people will be drawn to you during this time which is likely your preference anyway. Use this time to make connections, have intellectual conversations, and follow your interests.

CANCER - Venus is in your spiritual and secretive house. Use this time to follow deep creative and spiritual urges, perhaps you might find a new practice that feels really good to you. Just be aware that this around this time, there’s more of a likelihood to get into an affair.

LEO - Friends, friends, and more friends! This is THE time to socialize, Leo! Venus is bringing her gifts to your house of community, hopes, and dreams. This would also be a great time to think about what it is you want for the future, and then try that out to see how you like it.

VIRGO - Time to shine Virgo! Venus is lighting up your career and public status house. You might find yourself in the limelight a little more with your Venusian charm. This is a great time to use Venus’ gift of balance and justice within your career.

LIBRA - Venus is in your house of mental exploration and travel this month. Connecting with people from other walks of life or other places in the world could bring you great interest and new opportunities. Use this time to explore new philosophies and ways of thinking.

SCORPIO - Feeling a little more frisky than usual? You might find it very easy to find someone (or multiple someones) to roll around in bed with during this month. Just make sure the desire is in the mind first and if you’re already coupled, this would be a great time to try new things in the bedroom.

SAGITTARIUS - Okay Sag, Venus is in your partnership house so everything written above about relationships REALLY applies to you. There could definitely be a focus on partnership for you during this month but be aware that your interests may fade quickly. Is it justified? Or are you being hasty?

CAPRICORN - With Venus in your house of health and daily work, this could be really great time to make worthwhile connections in the office for the purpose of creating a better work environment. Also, use this time to explore new health practices instead of falling into the overindulgent Venus trap.

AQUARIUS - Many interests, right? Your mind will not stop spewing creative idea after creative idea. But which one to choose?! Um, can’t it be all of them? Just trying something out doesn’t mean it’s your forever.

PISCES - House parties!! Okay, it doesn’t have to be a wild house party, but with Venus in your house of home, you may feel more inclined to host a gathering of sorts in your space. Perhaps throw a get together just for the purpose of intellectual conversations with one another.

June 2019: The jewels within...

Ambi Sitham

JUNE COSMIC UPDATE.png

Hello lovely ones and happy last day of May and welcome to June 2019!

Here we are, halfway through 2019 on the cusp of a new season with the Solstice just weeks away and with eclipse season beckoning….more on the latter next month… but for now, let’s focus on what June has to offer.

The month starts off with a beautiful New Moon in Gemini on the 3rd (log in for your New Moon Soulstrology blog and Scopes!).

The outer planets of Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn continue their retrograde and later in June on the same day as the Summer Solstice (and the start of Cancer season) Neptune joins the gaggle of planets in retrograde as he too begins his annual backwards dance.

The intensity of the Pluto/Saturn conjunction which we would have all felt for the last couple of months, will lessen this month as Saturn moves further away from Pluto in the zodiac as his backwards motion picks up speed.

This should offer some relief, although the Saturn/South Node conjunction and Saturn/North Node opposition continues , so there is still a rather karmic, Saturn esque feel to events which take place this month.

Nonetheless Soulstrology tells us June 2019 offers us a powerful opportunity to discover hidden gems.

Whether this is within our consciousness/psyche, perhaps through retrograde revelations, or whether this is on the external plane where we discover that in truth there are hidden blessings and opportunities in our lives, this is the month where if we seek, we shall find the jewels within ourselves and our lives, just waiting to be discovered.

Our job this month is to open our eyes fully and to cast our gaze wider and deeper than what our two human eyes can perhaps perceive. To allow the light and intensity of the Solstice, as well as the pre-eclipse energies (eclipses often trigger events in our lives one month prior, or post, the actual eclipse itself) to help us tap into those jewels waiting to be found and celebrated in our lives.

We can harness the airy energy of Gemini season to help us do this as it will focus our minds and energize us over the first three weeks of the month in the build up to the Solstice when the zodiac seasons change and the intuitive watery depth of Cancer season will begin to prepare us for the eclipses.

New seasons bring new beginnings and eclipses bring shifts.

Some of these new beginnings and shifts may not look like glimmering gems, but if we dig a bit deeper, we will see that they are gifts and blessings helping us to transition into a new chapter in our lives…

June 2019 Soulstrology Mantras and cosmic dates for your diaries below…

Mantra of the Month

I open my eyes to all the gifts I have, whether these are internal or external

I know that just as many jewels are hidden among the dirt, so too many blessings are wrapped up in the grit of challenge

With this in mind I keep my eyes, mind and heart open to all the jewels surrounding me and within me, knowing if I seek them, I will uncover them

I am open, I am optimistic, I see the glass as half full

I strive to feel good, knowing this is one of the first steps to seeing and experiencing good

Cosmic dates for your diary below with details of Soulstrology blogs, Soulstrology Scopes and a new Soulstrology Soundbath to be enjoyed!

May we each have the openness and vision to see all the jewels within and without, and may these gems help us to transition into a beautiful new season.

Wishing you all a wonderful month.

Love,

Ambi x

Gemini New Moon.png

Hello and happy almost New Moon in Gemini!

I hope that you will have read the Gemini New Moon blog post to understand the themes which are at play at this particular New Moon and over the next lunar cycle.

That information will help you to answer the following cosmic coaching questions and to work with the energies of this lunation.

  1. Reviewing the Gemini ruled parts of life in your unique chart (use the Soulstrology zodiac guide below, reading for your Sun and Rising sign) journal on your satisfaction levels in terms of what you are currently manifesting in these life areas. On a scale of 1-10 how happy and fulfilled do you feel?

  2. Now review what your dialogue is regarding these areas of life. What is your internal dialogue - in other words the conversation you have with yourself - and what is your external dialogue - in other words - what you say about these areas of life to others?

  3. Take note of any and all differences between your dialogue (whether internal or external) and your actions regarding these areas of life. Ask yourself honestly if you are truly walking your talk, or if there is a lack of follow through regarding your ‘talk’ and what you verbalize that you desire regarding these areas of life.

  4. Journal as to what you can shift regarding either/both your communications/dialogue regarding these areas of life and/or your actions. The idea is that you either talk a different talk (that is more aligned with your actions and therefore has more integrity) or you really begin to walk your talk and take action that is truly aligned with your words.

  5. Listen to a Soulstrology Soundbath (there are a few appropriate ones listed below for your ease of reference) and then focus once again on the Gemini ruled parts of life in your chart/life as well as the natural zodiac Gemini areas of life (communication, your voice in all formats, short distance travel, siblings, community) Keeping in mind your responses to questions 1-4 above start thinking (and journaling) about what you would like to manifest in these areas of life over the next lunar month.

  6. Write up a manifestation list for the month ahead and write at least ten things you wish to manifest in the next lunar cycle. Think also about one big shift you would like to manifest in the next six months by the corresponding Gemini Full Moon. When you write this list make sure there is a correlation between your talk and your walk. In other words make sure for every thing you wish to manifest there is a physical action that is to be taken.

  7. Listen to the New Moon Manifestation meditation to help you visualize the manifestation of the desires on your list, perhaps reading the Gemini New Moon Mantras and/or the channeled word (s) for your sign.

  8. Celebrate! You have carried out a powerful cosmic coaching and New Moon ritual!

SOULSTROLOGY GEMINI NEW MOON MANTRAS

I know that in order to manifest my dreams I must take action to match my desires

I embrace the fact that this means walking my talk with all that entails

With this in mind, I am careful with my words and make sure they are grounded in both integrity and action

I trust that when I walk my talk and take inspired action, I will be supported in the manifestation of my desires

New Moon in Gemini: Success and stature comes by walking your talk

New Moon In Gemini.png

Hello lovely ones and happy almost New Moon!

The New Moon falls at 12 degrees of Gemini and takes place on Monday June 3 at 3.02am PT (adjust for your timezone as always).

Check your Soulstrology zodiac guide below to see where this New Moon falls in your unique chart.

I get asked this question a lot, so wanted to reiterate this point now, which is, regardless of if you have any planets in a sign, a New/Full Moon will always fall somewhere in your chart.

If you’re new to Soulstrology I understand it can be confusing to try and read your chart and that is why we always provide a guide as to every transit or moon cycle so you can simply check for your Sun and Rising sign and know that regardless of what your chart appears to show, the guide will tell you where a particular transit or lunar event is taking place in your unique chart.

If you’re more of a Soulstrology pro (and don’t worry for beginners, everyone gets there slowly!) then you can check where exactly 12 degrees of Gemini falls in your chart, as well as any planets or house cusps in your chart which are between 10 and 14 degrees of Gemini as these will be activated by the New Moon.

Onward to the general themes which are impacting each of us at this New Moon which we must all consider when we are working with the New Moon energies over the next lunar cycle.

In the natural zodiac Gemini rules the third house. The house of communication, our mind, our thought process and our intellect. Early education is also ruled by this house, as well as our relationships with our siblings and our neighbors/local community. Short trips and travel (more locally, within our own country and/or state) are also covered by this house.

As the celestial energies catch up with the times, Soulstrology tells us that this house is also the house of our voice/our communication in all forms and all related projects - so this can cover our written voice, spoken, song, social media, blogs, an app etc.

Gemini, like Virgo, is ruled by Mercury, so this sign’s energies are very much cerebral and mentally focused as opposed to physically focused.

This is exacerbated by the fact that Gemini is an air sign. Air signs tend to be the thinkers of the zodiac, they are both intellectual and curious and are good at abstract, rational thinking.

Gemini is also a mutable sign, and is known as the sign of the ‘twins’, reflecting the duality of a Gemini.

They often have two very different sides to their personalities and sometimes this can be their shadow - the two faces of Gemini or rather being ‘two faced’ with a negative connotation.

However, this duality also extends to their capabilities and means they are often skilled in multiple areas of expertise.

Where each of us has Gemini ruling our unique charts, and any planets we may have in Gemini, are where we too may have the traits described above and the capability of duality.

This is something that we will be exploring further in our Soulstrology Scopes with our cosmic coaching and custom ritual, but for now, let us focus on the aspects of this particular Gemini New Moon and the unique Soulstrology theme.

As you hopefully know by now at a New Moon the Sun and Moon join together (called a conjunction) in the same sign of the zodiac. So when we refer to the New Moon we are referring to the joint energies of both the Sun and Moon.

Often at a New Moon aspects are made by both the Sun and Moon together to other planets and we explore these and what they mean for that specific New Moon and lunar cycle.

Sometimes the New Moon does not make any specific aspects to other planets but other celestial bodies are making significant aspects to each other at this time.

Soulstrology tells us that either the aspects made to a New Moon, or other specific celestial aspects made at the time of the New Moon offer us the unique energies of that New Moon and serve as a guide as to how best to work with the lunation (this means the lunar cycle which the New Moon is bringing).

This New Moon itself does not actually make any specific strong aspects but there are some very interesting aspects made by other celestial bodies, namely Saturn, Neptune, Venus, Pluto and the North node (all big cosmic players!) which create the Soulstrology theme for this Gemini New Moon of June 2019.

Venus (in grounded earthy Taurus) makes a very harmonious trine aspect to powerful Pluto in Capricorn.

This results in a flowing energy regarding finances, relationships, creativity, socializing and transformation, soulful power and ultimately change.

This is a very grounded energy (thanks to the two Earth signs of Taurus and Capricorn) and is also a very powerful energy as Venus is one of the cosmic benefics and Pluto is the cosmic powerhouse.

Meanwhile stern Saturn is in Capricorn (his home position where he excels) and as we all probably know by now is the cosmic headmaster who can give us a hard time, but also offers us great structure and helps us climb the greatest heights, is making a beautiful sextile aspect to dreamy Neptune in Pisces.

While this aspect is between two very different signs and planets - Neptune is boundless and vast - Saturn is all about boundaries and structure - Capricorn is a grounded, logical Earth sign - Pisces is an emotional, sensitive, intuitive water sign, the sextile aspect means that these two energies can work very well together - bringing together the best of both.

This aspect is about being both practical and creative, having a dream and being a visionary but also taking the steps to actualize that dream. Following your intuition, your gut, your heart, your feels, but keeping your head.

Understanding that pragmatism and practicalities play as important part in the manifestation of our vision as the dream itself.

Next is the lovely trine aspect between Neptune in Pisces and the North Node in Cancer.

As you probably know by now, the North Node indicates our destiny and future.

The North Node is what we are supposed to step into, what may not always come easily to us but what is our fate and will bring us blessings, so long as we reach to step into it - which is not always easy as it is outside of our comfort zone.

Through this trine aspect we can harness the creative, spiritual dreams of Neptune and turn them into reality (through the assistance of Saturn) so we step into our future (the North Node).

Neptune makes a helpful sextile aspect to the South Node.

The South Node represents our past, what we are used to, what comes easily, what is our comfort zone, as well as sometimes our past karma and baggage.

Through this harmonious Neptune/South Node aspect we can harness the energies of the past (South Node) to help us create our future (North Node) and to make our dreams (Neptune) a reality (Saturn).

All of this brings me nicely to the Soulstrology theme of this Gemini New Moon, that success and stature comes by walking our talk….

As we all hopefully know by now, Gemini is the thinker and communicator. But what we may not know is that the shadow of Gemini can be to be all talk but not enough action.

Ultimately we are what we do, not what we say we will do.

We can talk the talk, but if we don’t walk it, if we don’t take practical action and steps towards our goals, we will never achieve them.

This may seem obvious and we may not even realize that we are not walking our talk, but for many of us, this is the block and gap between where we are and where we want to be.

Soulstrology tells us that the aspects of this New Moon ask each of us to be honest about where we are at, and where we want to be.

For us to understand that there are powerful planetary energies at play which assist us in pushing forwards into the future we desire, but for us to equally understand that we must take action, we must find the bridge between dreams and practicalities, in order to make our visions a reality.

Transformation is a regular theme of our Soulstrology work and what it looks like will be different for each of us and as always our Soulstrology Scopes will help us achieve this.

For those of us willing to do the work, we may find we enjoy the benefits over the next lunation, with the Solstice providing a powerful pre-eclipse portal.

Success and stature awaits, however that may uniquely look for each of us, but we must walk our talk to get there.

More to come on your Soulstrology Scopes soon….

For now, let the themes of this blog digest, review the Gemini ruled parts of life, both in the natural zodiac as identified above and in your unique chart as set out in the Soulstrology zodiac guide below.

Love,

Ambi x

Mars in Cancer: May 17 - July 1

Mars in Cancer.png

MARS IN CANCER TRANSIT

Cosmic insights courtesy of Lexie Rollet of Alexandria Astrology

Mars in Cancer is going to feel so much different from Mars in Gemini. We are moving away from a time of flighty energy and hasty decisions and into a time of mood-based action with a long-term view.

This placement is very interesting in that Mars is not particularly comfortable in Cancer. These two entities really challenge the other. Mars pushes Cancer to become more energetic, take actions, and make decisions. And Cancer encourages Mars to consider what the heart wants and to get more in tune with our emotions.

During this time, you might find it a little difficult to take actions on anything you’re not in the mood to do. This can obviously be challenging, especially when it’s something you absolutely need to do, whether it be for work or you know, #adulting. But in cases where it might not be absolutely necessary to do, perhaps honor that mood. Maybe you’ll find that some of the things that have been filling up your schedule really aren’t all that necessary in the grand scheme of everything.

Cancer is highly focused on the long-term so the actions you may be compelled to take may actually fuel that long-term view you have for your life. This would be an EXCELLENT time to focus on doing the things that your future self would deeply thank you for. For example, if you have envisioned yourself to be a person who takes their health seriously but you’ve struggled to make it a true focus, this would be a good time to practice a new routine that would help you accomplish that.

Now, this isn’t to say you should go crazy adding a ton of new things into your life just for the sake of what it will do for future You. This is more about planting the seeds to begin on that journey. Cancer isn’t particularly high energy and with all of the Taurus energy that we are surrounded by right now, we really aren’t in a time to be doing all kinds of things at once.

The combination of Venus in Taurus and Mars in Cancer is actually quite beautiful as it creates a sextile between the two. While Venus was in Aries and Mars was in Gemini, we had masculine energy impacting our actions, but now we have feminine energy. This feminine energy will allow us to connect to our intuition more and maybe soften us around the edges where we may have been a little too harsh. We can also connect with our emotions more where perhaps recently we’ve been ignoring our feelings.

One word of caution is that Cancer can be overly protective and defensive and do things out of defense that it will regret later. With Mars in this sign, that defensive energy gets super-charged! So, when you feel yourself going immediately on the defense, ask yourself if that is truly what the situation is calling for. In some cases, it might!

One thing you don’t want to mess with right now is family. That’s Cancer’s hottest button. A great example of a super-charged Mars in Cancer would be Daenerys when it comes to her dragons. Her dragons have been her children ever since the eggs were given to her and we have seen her do some pretty instinctual, hasty, emotionally-charged, sometimes non-strategic things as a reaction to her dragons.

Here are a few things to think about for each Sun/Rising sign from May 17th to July 2nd:

Aries/Aries rising: Long-term planning and action items around the home for this transit. Perhaps you take major steps in buying a home or becoming more independent in your living situation. Just be wary of arguments within the family.

Taurus/Taurus rising: You might find yourself being more mentally alert with Mars in your communication house. Certainly there is more drive to share your message and point of view but with that comes the potential of becoming defensive and argumentative.

Gemini/Gemini rising: Mars is considered the manifesting planet and it just so happens to be in your personal finances house. This would be a good time to think about a long-term plan about your money or make a genuine effort to set yourself up for financial growth.

Cancer/Cancer rising: This may be quite a dynamic time for you with Mars in the house of self. Mars will give you a little more assertiveness, help you claim independence where necessary, and charge you up with confidence. The bedroom might see some action, as well. ;-)

Leo/Leo rising: Mars is in the 12th house of spirituality for you, Leo. This may encourage you to become a bit secretive and reserved during this time. Take advantage of that in order to connect with yourself on a deeper level. This would be a great time to explore your intuition.

Virgo/Virgo rising: You could find yourself being called to lead amongst your friends during this transit. Mars is in your community house but it’s also the hopes and dreams house. So with that, start taking the necessary actions that will help you achieve the biggest dreams you have for your life.

Libra/Libra rising: Your career and public life will experience a dose of energy. Think about the long-term goals you have for your career and start doing the things that will ultimately help you get there. Remember, you won’t get there overnight so no use in getting frustrated about it now.

Scorpio/Scorpio rising: Mars is giving you energy around your views, philosophies, and higher ideals. This is great to work with for getting deeper rooted into your philosophy but this also opens you up to defending it. Just be aware and don’t waste your breath where it isn’t needed.

Sagittarius/Sagittarius rising: The energy planet is in the powerful and intimate 8th house for you. Yes, a high sex drive is to be expected but also energy around healing can also be expected. An odd mix but definitely an 8th house topic: long-term financial planning. Maybe double check your plan or put one in place.

Capricorn/Capricorn rising: Mars is in your partnership house so first of all: sex ;-) But second, this may be a time in which you look at the long-term vision you have for your relationships and making movements in them that align with that vision. However, check your defenses before arguing.

Aquarius/Aquarius rising: That bit earlier in this article about health is definitely for you, Aquarius. Mars is in your house of health and daily work so use this time to focus on any long-term health goals you might have and to get stuff done at work.

Pisces/Pisces rising: Mars may be encouraging you to be a bit competitive during this transit. This could come out in creative endeavors, romantic encounters, or even an athletic competition. One thing is for sure: follow that creative streak if it finds you.

Full Moon Scorpio Soulstrology Scopes

Ambi Sitham

Scorpio Full Moon.png

Hello lovely ones and happy almost Scorpio Full Moon.

As I write the Moon is waxing to fullness and shining brightly in the evening skies.

Soon she will be full, at her peak and most potent.

You may have already tapped into those Full Moon feels…and what this Full Moon represents for you, whether that is celebratory or cleansing, in some cases perhaps both!

Regardless, whether you choose to do this before the Full Moon, on the day of, or the day after, I encourage you to answer the cosmic coaching homework and engage in the Scorpio Full Moon ritual below (tweak the ritual as serves you). Please note the cosmic coaching may make more sense in the context of the Scorpio Full Moon blog, so I advise reading that prior to, or in conjunction with this post and particularly when answering questions below thinking about that concept of mind over matter.

  1. Review the areas of life ruled by Scorpio, namely sex, intimacy, money (particularly joint finances) death (can be literal or metaphorical), merging with another, control/jealousy issues. What would you like to release/transform/heal about these areas of life? Make notes.

  2. Again thinking about the above areas of life, is there anything can you celebrate? Think of things which you may have closure on (always a reason to celebrate) or things which have come to fruition or celebratory completion. Make notes.

  3. Review the life areas ruled by Scorpio in your unique chart (both your solar and natal chart, so based on your Sun and Rising sign). Once again ask yourself what you would like to release/transform/heal about these areas of life. Make notes.

  4. Again thinking about the above areas of life, check if there is anything you can celebrate? Keeping in mind the notes in question 2 above.

  5. Listen to a Soulstrology Soundbath. I have included a few at the bottom of this post, the new Soundbath while recorded is being edited, but unfortunately due to a true Scorpio Full Moon event my editor has been waylaid with a family emergency, so it may come out shortly after the Full Moon itself.. Whichever Soundbath (or there is also a Full Moon release meditation where I guide you through releasing!) you choose I recommend you to think about what it is that you want to achieve through the meditation. Set your intention before listening. Is it clarity you are seeking? Peace of mind? To be grounded? To heal? Set your intention, whatever it may be, then pop your headphones in, light some sage/palo santo or a candle and listen to the Soundbath.

  6. After the Soundbath see if you have any new insights. Is there something else to add to your celebration/completion list? Is there something to add to your healing/releasing/transforming list? Add/amend appropriately.

  7. Write up a Full Moon letter/list to the cosmos. Write what you are giving thanks for and are grateful for (all those things on your celebration/completion list) then write what you would like help transforming, healing, releasing, letting go of.

  8. Burn the list, best done outside if possible, or at least having looked up at the fullness of the moon for a few minutes. As the list goes up in flames give thanks for all that you and the cosmos have co-created with regards to the areas of life being illuminated by the Full Moon and surrender and give thanks for the healing, releasing and transforming of all the matters you identified and wrote on your letter/list (the answers to questions 1 and 3 above)

  9. Get outside and ground! We are in Taurus season and with the moon in Scorpio some of the antidote to the watery intensity of the Full Moon is to ground in earth. If you are down for some barefoot earthing (literally standing or walking barefoot on grass/sand or earth) then do that. If not, just do your best to get outside and ground in nature for a few minutes. The greener the better!

  10. Complete your Full Moon ritual with a water ceremony to honor the fluid power of Scorpio. Either take a shower visualizing the water washing away any remnants of what you wish to release and/or take a bath (with epsom salts ideally) to soak away any of those Full Moon feels.

  11. Listen to one more Soundbath when you are done. I recommend the Jupiter and Earth soundbath which was originally recorded for a Full Moon but has a very grounding and healing effect.

  12. Check out your Soulstrology Scopes (channeled messages, read for your Sun and Rising sign) and Full Moon mantras below!

SOULSTROLOGY SCORPIO FULL MOON MANTRAS

I trust that deaths and rebirths are endless cycles of life and embrace that there are seasons for grieving and endings as there are seasons for celebrating and new beginnings

I embrace the season I find myself in, with gratitude for all that I have, compassion for all that remains to be healed and hope in all that is yet to transform

I know that there are certain situations in which my only job is to let go, relinquish control and choose to trust that in the end, the right outcome will prevail, for my highest good and the greater good of all

With this in mind I let go of what I cannot control and focus on what I can - my thoughts and my actions

I choose to be grateful, compassionate towards myself and others, and courageous

Full Moon in Scorpio May 2019: Mind over matter

Ambi Sitham

Full Moon Scorpio.png

Hello lovely ones and happy nearly Full Moon in Scorpio!

The Full Moon takes place this Saturday May 18 at 2.11 pm PT (adjust as always for your timezone) and falls at 27 degrees of Scorpio.

As always, you can use the Soulstrology zodiac guide below to check where Scorpio rules in your unique natal chart but if you are more familiar with your chart then please see where you have any planets or points (so house cusps which if you use the Placidus house system to cast your chart, have a degree for each house cusp) at between 24-29 degrees of Scorpio as the Full Moon will be activating these planets or house cusps.

As you are all probably aware by now, Scorpio is an intense watery sign. The eighth sign, ruled by powerful and intense Pluto and in the natural zodiac governing some of the most intense life issues - sex, joint finances and death.

Full Moons are intense times and Full Moons in certain signs can be more intense than usual.

In watery, emotional Scorpio, la luna can illuminate some of our most deepest darkest fears, emotions, habits, behaviors and secrets.

Thanks to powerful Pluto who rules the subconscious mind, what we keep hidden (or perhaps don’t even realize are issues as they are so submerged within our subconscious mind) can rise to the surface, almost quite violently.

Soulstrology tells us that the dark side of Pluto is controlling, manipulative, ruthless and destructive.

The light of Pluto is deep transformation which empowers us, helps us be soulfully powerful and paves the way for a powerful rebirth.

Yep, triple power vibes is the light of Pluto!

Full Moons as you know by now are the highest point of the lunar cycle.

The Moon is at her biggest and brightest and literally illuminates the skies.

At a Full Moon we can experience big highs, whether emotionally/internally or physically/externally.

They can absolutely be celebratory times where matters come to fruition and completion.

We can feel energized, excited and celebratory.

Conversely they can be times when things are brought up to the surface and the lunar spotlight. Emotions we have kept hidden, issues which have been buried.

As we approach the Full Moon these matters can come up internally/emotionally and/or on the physical plane.

Something can happen. Someone can happen. Sh*t can happen.

Either way we all probably know all too well what the Full Moon feels are like.

Whether ‘good’ or ‘bad’ we can feel the energy building as we approach the Full Moon.

This is exacerbated depending on the exact aspects of the Full Moon itself and other celestial happenings at the specific time.

With Scorpio ruling some of the most intense aspects of life, such as sex, money, death, power and transformation, Scorpio Full Moons tend to be more intense than normal Full Moons but this doesn’t mean that they are ‘bad’, they can be extremely powerful celebratory times.

As always how it plays out for each of us depends upon how the Full Moon impacts our unique charts and what is happening in each of our different lives at this moment in time.

Nonetheless we should all be taking into account the different celestial aspects at play at this Full Moon and how we can work with those energies.

Both cosmic heavyweights Saturn and Pluto continue to sit side by side in Capricorn with Saturn sitting right by the South Node and opposing the North node.

This is playing out on a macro scale in some of the political and social issues being thrust into the limelight in this country and around the world.

Think the patriarchy, authorities - the powers that be (Saturn) and the past, tradition, what we are used to (the South node) and the future, what we are supposed to step into (the North node).

This theme has been playing out for the last month or so and will continue to do so for sometime.

In our lives the same themes apply but are directed towards the Capricorn/Cancer ruled parts of our charts/lives.

Venus now in Taurus, and Uranus, also in Taurus, sit side by side each other at this Full Moon meaning their energies combine in a powerful way.

Uranus rules sudden change and liberation. His energies bring those light bulb moments where we get sudden insights and inspirations which may birth new invention/creations.

He is also a disruptor, so can sometimes shake up our world in a seemingly less than pleasant way, but ultimately for our progression.

Venus rules love, creativity, abundance, beauty, peace and socializing.

Uranus and Venus side by side can bring unexpected shifts with matters of the heart, finances, creative projects, and our social lives.

Whether ‘good’ or ‘bad’ all depends on what is happening in our lives and the filter through which we choose to view anything this aspect may bring and how we choose to respond.

Turning now to the main celestial aspect of this Scorpio Full Moon which relates to the Sun and Moon who are the key players at any New or Full Moon.

Mercury sits a few degrees away from the Sun in Taurus in an opposition aspect to the Full Moon.

Oppositions are tense aspects. The polarity of opposing zodiac signs/themes/energies can create tension that creates conflict.

Here the tension and conflict can come between our minds (Mercury) and our emotions (Scorpio Full Moon).

We must take care around communication (Mercury) and our emotions (Scorpio Full Moon).

There is the potential for tense, emotional communications.

The lunar spotlight illuminates what we need to deal with and while we must not suppress our emotions or bite our tongues fully, we must also be mindful that conversations do not get out of hand.

Thankfully there is great potential for communications to be constructive, productive and ultimately transformative for our lives thanks to Mercury (the mind/communication) making a sextile aspect to powerful Pluto who is the ruler of this Full Moon as he governs Scorpio.

We have the opportunity to harness the energy of Pluto to dive beneath the surface, to understand ourselves and our lives better and whether just in communication with ourselves through our thoughts, or in conversation with others, we have the opportunity to transform how we think about certain situations, which in turn will impact how we behave, which in turn will impact the outcome in our lives.

Which leads me nicely to the Soulstrology theme of this Full Moon - Mind over matter.

This is about harnessing the power of our minds to create certain realities, or to overcome certain challenges or obstacles.

This is about the power (Scorpio) each of us has to transform (Pluto) our realities from the inside - our minds.

If you know a Scorpio/Scorpio rising you will know how determined they can be. And sometimes that determination can be a bit much and can play out as the shadow of Scorpio.

But for the purposes of this Full Moon we want to focus on the light of this trait.

The ability to harness our minds in such a powerful way that we can change our realities, transform karma, shift our fates and step into our destinies.

We have assistance from the cosmos through the intensity of the emotional feels (and potentially communications) from the Mercury/Full Moon opposition.

These ‘Full Moon feels’ may be about a matter pertaining to a real life situation, a reality that causes us anxiety or distress.

But we can harness Mercury in grounded Taurus to soothe ourselves. To not get too overly emotional and to instead, as per the Soulstrology theme for May 2019, be grounded but flowing.

We can harness the power of Mercury and Pluto’s connection to dive deep into our subconscious minds to transform our psyche, our thoughts and beliefs around a certain situation so that we can truly have mind over matter and change our realities!

There are powerful energies at play which each of us can tap into and use to our advantage.

There are aspects which may bring unexpected (and welcome) changes thanks to Venus and Uranus.

And there is a distinctly transformative and karmic feel to events at this time thanks to the continued Saturn/Pluto conjunction and Saturn/north node opposition.

In order to live the future we desire, we must transform our psyche in the present, so we can step away from our pasts and into our destinies.

We must engage mind over matter…

More to come on your Soulstrology Scopes, but for now, allow the growing fullness of la luna to illuminate what you need to deal with and engage mind over matter about….think about those natural zodiac areas of life which Scorpio rules and the themes mentioned in this post, as well as of course the areas of life Scorpio rules in your specific chart.

More soon…

Venus in Taurus.png

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday!

I hope you are enjoying the last week of Taurus season and are tapping into the powerful energies of the upcoming Scorpio Full Moon (more on this to come).

It’s a busy few days in the cosmos with cosmic lovers Venus and Mars both moving into different zodiac signs with Venus moving into Taurus tomorrow and Mars moving into Cancer the next day.

We have the wonderful Lexie Rollet of Alexandria Astrology contributing her insights on these transits starting with a post on Venus in Taurus.

Side note from me: I LOVE Venus in Taurus transits as Venus is exalted (at home, in her best position) in Taurus plus I know she is transiting my natal moon and Jupiter so they get a boost of Venusian energies.

When reading the below post, you will read for both your Sun and Rising signs but don’t forget to also look at your charts and any planets you may have in Taurus. They will get a much needed boost from Venus and heads up, if you are a Taurus Sun or Rising, you get the Venus filter for the next few weeks - a great time for a makeover, to impress people, to put your best foot forward, to be seen as your best external self!

Enjoy the post from the lovely Lexie and don’t forget to check her out on Instagram where she posts lots of useful astro snippets almost daily.

VENUS IN TAURUS

A breath of relief. Venus is at home.

Taurus is one of the signs where Venus is “at home” in the natural zodiac. (The other sign being Libra.) Let’s just melt in this transit because it’s an oh.so.delicious one.

Venus in Aries was largely about self-love and being assertive and well, self-love isn’t really going away for this transit either. In fact, it’s even more important now. Taurus needs a bit of self-assurance and a bit of pampering. And this transit (from May 16th to June 8th) will be a great time to give that to yourself.

Here’s a little personal story that perfectly encapsulates this transit. While reading it, think of your own life and see if you can draw any parallels from it.

During Christmas last year, I received a gift card for a local massage chain in my area. The card itself has imagery and wording on it about getting a facial. I’ve had physical therapy massages but never in my life have I ever gone to a massage establishment to receive a massage, just ‘cuz. And I sure as hell have never had a facial apart from the charcoal ones I give myself when I really really feel like I’ve been an extra good adult.

The card is still taking up space in my wallet and everytime I see it, I think, “You really need to use this….Yeah, but, you don’t deserve it right now….What have you done to deserve getting a facial?....I kind of want a massage. Do I have to get a facial just because the card says so? I don’t know!....How much is even on the card? Do you even know what to ask for when you go to use this card?....You can use the gift card after you’ve done something to earn it.”

For one thing, I’m way over-analyzing HOW to use this gift card. Taurus can very easily get to that place because Taurus wants all the T’s crossed and the I’s dotted before starting on anything. But, HELLO!!! That’s one of the biggest things getting in the way of doing what you want to do!!! Second, the only time I’ve gotten any “pampering” like this is when it served a practical purpose. Taurus is very practical and there’s always a reason for doing something. But can’t that reason just be, because you want to? And third, I can’t seem to get over this idea that I need to “deserve” using this gift card. Taurus is a hard-worker and will very rarely sit back to acknowledge that it has in fact worked extremely hard. And the fact that this was a gift, means someone else has acknowledged my hard work long before I’ve acknowledged it for myself.

This is where the self-love comes in.

For this transit, I challenge you to answer the following the questions:

How hard am I working? What does “working hard” even mean to me? Have I been denying myself a simple pleasure in life because it’s not what I “deserve”? Specifically, what would make me feel like I would “deserve” that pleasure? Is it possible that I’ve already done the hard work to earn that pleasure? What are the fruits of my labor at this moment? Is that not enough to have earned pampering? Is my existence and continued effort not enough to deserve a little bit of pampering?

Here’s a few specifics for your Sun and/or Rising sign:

Aries - Venus is in your money house for this transit. This gives you great earning potential, along with spending potential. You’re pretty impulsive anyway, Aries, so maybe just take 5 deep breaths before you decide to drop some cash.

Taurus - Really focus on yourself for this transit. Venus is in your sign, giving you the ability to do a little bit of self-awareness work and bring light to your worth and your value. Having Venus in your sign also gives you a little more magnetism and a cheerful disposition.

Gemini - This is a time to connect with yourself on a deep level. Venus is in your house of spirituality and subconscious, giving you the ability to follow your deepest and most creative urges. This would also be a good time connect with your higher self.

Cancer - Connecting with friends would do you well during this transit. Get a little more involved in the groups you’re already in or explore a new one you’ve been eyeing. Use this time to get super dreamy about what you hope to accomplish.

Leo - Venus is in your career house, Leo, giving you even more charm and magnetism in this area of your life. It’s also giving you the power of justice and diplomacy. Venus is here to help you establish balance and order where necessary.

Virgo - Travel and/or other cultures might pique your interest. Or at the very least, understanding people with a different perspective than you may come into play. Make a genuine effort to understand them and find the harmony between your beliefs and theirs.

Libra - There is a possibility of gaining through others during this time. Venus sits in your house of joint ventures and intimacy. While yes, your sex life will most likely be lit, be on the lookout for ways you can create abundance with other people.

Scorpio - Your relationships are the focus for Venus this time around. Use Venus to help you establish a balance within your one-to-one relationships. Also, this really may be a time to get a little steamy with your partner.

Sagittarius - Harmony and balance in the workplace may be a theme for you. Venus is here to give you that ability to establish a level playing field. However, on the health front, just be mindful. Venus could inspire you to get overindulgent, perhaps for good reason?

Capricorn - Venus is in your house of romance and creativity. You may feel a little extra seen during this time as people might be more drawn to you. If you have had your eye on a creative endeavor but haven’t started, this would be an excellent time to follow it.

Aquarius - Beauty in the home is the theme for you during this transit. Venus sits in your 4th house of home inspiring you to get creative there, maybe even host a party and entertain your favorite people.

Pisces - Sharing your message may prove beneficial for you during this transit. Venus will be sitting in your house of communication and mental activity and it will give you a beautiful ability to infuse your message and self-expression with charm, harmony, and elegance.
